I don’t know how else to start this post on the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine other than by coming out and saying it. I’ve had the most accurate NFL Draft notes on the wide receiver position for about seven years in a row and this year I feel by far the least confident in terms of what I’m getting. It feels like the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine created more questions than answers and the only thing I’m positive in is that this class feels like the running back class from last year. Be careful about overspending but there could be a path to finding those gems in the later rounds.
We have a lot to get to so no need to delay anymore. Here are your 2025 NFL Scouting Combine notes on the wide receivers!
Andrew Armstrong (Arkansas)
Measurables: Height (6-3 3/4), Weight (202), Arm Length (32 1/8), Wingspan (79 1/2), Hand (9 5/8)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.51), 10-Yard Split (1.53), Vertical Jump (37.5), Broad Jump (10’4″), 3-Cone (6.97), 20-Yard Shuffle (4.18), Bench (11)
No crazy burst to him. Rounding corners on routes. Don’t see any real talent. Doesn’t suck but not special. Took him too long on the comeback route.
Elic Ayomanor (Stanford)
Measurables: Height (6-1 3/4), Weight (206), Arm Length (32 3/8), Wingspan (78 3/8), Hand (10)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.44), 10-Yard Split (1.58), Vertical Jump (38.5), Broad Jump (10’7″), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 4
Not sure how this happened but don’t have much to say. Passable. Was there. Lacked some catch radius (which is what he should be good at) on a deep out cut by Ewers. Decent in and out of breaks. Decent choppy feet.
Elijhah Badger (Florida)
Measurables: Height (6-1 3/8), Weight (200), Arm Length (32 1/8), Wingspan (78 5/8), Hand (9 1/2)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.44), 10-Yard Split (1.58), Vertical Jump (35.5), Broad Jump (N/A), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
I watched plenty of Florida and don’t even recall jotting him down. Dike was the better player. Shaky hands in the over the shoulder catch. Not overly smooth on the crosser. He’s there but I’m not super impressed. Definitely not a route running magician. Dropped the post corner from Ewers and tracked the ball really poorly.
Jack Bech (TCU)
Measurables: Height (6-1 1/4), Weight (214), Arm Length (31 1/2), Wingspan (75), Hand (9)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (N/A), 10-Yard Split (N/A), Vertical Jump (34.5), Broad Jump (10’5″), 3-Cone (6.84), 20-Yard Shuffle (4.21), Bench (19)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Senior Bowl (1), (2), (3), Game
Did not run. Hands are there. Really nice gauntlet. Confident hands. Fantastic reps in gauntlet. Gliding and confident. Big body with some plus juice. More impressive than I thought in the open field. Just looks like he belongs. Genuinely thought he was excellent.
Isaiah Bond (Texas)
Measurables: Height (5-10 5/8), Weight (180), Arm Length (30 1/2), Wingspan (75 1/2), Hand (8 1/2)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.39), 10-Yard Split (1.51), Vertical Jump (N/A), Broad Jump (N/A), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 2, Week 8, Week 12, Conference Championships, College Football Playoff First Round, Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl, Cotton Bowl, National Championship
Delusional. Sucks at football. Said he was going to break the 40 record and run a 4.1. Wasn’t even close to doing so. Fast but not earth shattering fast. Tiny. Actually caught the ball well with plus play speed in the gauntlet. It’s all speed. No sexy route running. I wouldn’t draft him. No idea how you can feel otherwise after today. What did he do well? Drops the post corner. Zero nuance to his game. Guy just runs around and hopes for the best with irrational confidence. I question your Intelligence if you think this should be a player that goes high in the draft.
Ja’Corey Brooks (Louisville)
Measurables: Height (6-2), Weight (184), Arm Length (31 3/4), Wingspan (76 3/4), Hand (9)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 8, Tony The Tiger Sun Bowl
Did not run. Did zero testing events. Not a surprise because he’s done nothing but prove he’s a bad athlete.. Slow dirt queen anyway. Not staying straight on the gauntlet but no drops. He’s just not good. Next gauntlet bad drop and swerving. No thank you.
Sam Brown Jr. (Miami)
Measurables: Height (6-2 1/4), Weight (200), Arm Length (31 5/8), Wingspan (77 7/8), Hand (9 3/8)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.44), 10-Yard Split (1.52), Vertical Jump (41.5), Broad Jump (N/A), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 1, Week 4, Week 5, Week 6, Week 8, Week 9, Week 10, Week 11, Week 14, Pop-Tarts Bowl
Barking like a dog while running the 40. All he is is speed. No on field. Wasn’t really a fan during the 700 Miami games it felt like I watched this year.
Pat Bryant (Illinois)
Measurables: Height (6-2 1/4), Weight (204), Arm Length (31 1/8), Wingspan (78), Hand (9 1/2)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.61), 10-Yard Split (1.56), Vertical Jump (37.5), Broad Jump (10’4″), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Senior Bowl (3)
Slow. Starts the drills with a horrible drop. Gauntlet was fine no issues on it. Play speed not there either. Didn’t like him at the Senior Bowl. Don’t like him now. Dropped the comeback route. There’s nothing here.
Luther Burden III (Missouri)
Measurables: Height (6-0), Weight (206), Arm Length (31 1/4), Wingspan (76 1/2), Hand (8 1/2)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.41), 10-Yard Split (1.54), Vertical Jump (N/A), Broad Jump (N/A), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 6, Week 9, Week 12, Music City Bowl
Did not run. Did do on field. No giddy up on the gauntlet. Needs to speed up process. Hands were there but not zooming. Expected more but not terrible. Left feeling underwhelmed. His route running I’m like sad it was that underwhelming.
Beaux Collins (Notre Dame)
Measurables: Height (6-3), Weight (201), Arm Length (31 5/8), Wingspan (79 1/2), Hand (9 1/2)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 1, College Football Playoff First Round, Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl, National Championship
Did not run. Slow as dirt anyway. Only confirmed that. No on field either. How do you lack this level of self awareness to do nothing after sucking all year?
Chimere Dike (Florida)
Measurables: Height (6-0 5/8), Weight (196), Arm Length (32 1/8), Wingspan (76 7/8), Hand (9 1/8)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.34), 10-Yard Split (1.51), Vertical Jump (38.5), Broad Jump (10’8″), 3-Cone (6.82), 20-Yard Shuffle (4.27), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Gasparilla Bowl, Senior Bowl (3)
Didn’t see that time coming. Right down the line on the gauntlet. Very smooth. Was lowkey impressed. Has something to him. Not a world beater but maybe he can actually be a contributor.
Emeka Egbuka (Ohio State)
Measurables: Height (6-0 7/8), Weight (202), Arm Length (31 1/2), Wingspan (76 5/8), Hand (9 5/8)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 6, Week 7, Week 9, Week 10, Week 13, Week 14, College Football Playoff First Round, Rose Bowl, Cotton Bowl, National Championship
Did not run. No on field either. He’s a JSN clone. A matter of where he fits on the scale.
Da’Quan Felton (Virginia Tech)
Measurables: Height (6-4 3/4), Weight (213), Arm Length (32 1/4), Wingspan (79 1/8), Hand (9)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.50), 10-Yard Split (1.52), Vertical Jump (32.5), Broad Jump (10’2″), 3-Cone (7.20), 20-Yard Shuffle (4.30), Bench (16)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Senior Bowl (2), (3)
Solid gauntlet. Was easy for him. Passing the test. The broadcasts suck so the Felton’s blended together. Hard to tell who was who. Maybe that’s a good thing.
Tai Felton (Maryland)
Measurables: Height (6-1 1/8), Weight (183), Arm Length (30), Wingspan (72 3/8), Hand (9)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.37), 10-Yard Split (1.51), Vertical Jump (39.5), Broad Jump (10’10”), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
Good run time. Has some zoom to him. The gauntlet was easy. Mostly looked good but one bad moment where he fell over and dropped a ball from Brosmer. Pure movement skills were there.
Jacolby George (Miami)
Measurables: Height (5-11), Weight (172), Arm Length (31 3/8), Wingspan (75 1/2), Hand (9 1/2)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (N/A), 10-Yard Split (N/A), Vertical Jump (32.5), Broad Jump (10′), 3-Cone (6.77), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 4, Week 9, Week 10, Week 11, Week 14, Pop-Tarts Bowl
Did not run. Did do on field. Had a drop in the gauntlet. Looks kinda skinny. Doesn’t look physically imposing. Route running much better than straight line stuff. Can be a possession receiver for someone but probably not a high end one.
Matthew Golden (Texas)
Measurables: Height (5-11), Weight (191), Arm Length (30 5/8), Wingspan (76 3/8), Hand (9 1/2)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.29), 10-Yard Split (1.49), Vertical Jump (N/A), Broad Jump (N/A), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 8, Week 12, Conference Championships, College Football Playoff First Round, Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl, Cotton Bowl
Didn’t see that time coming. Didn’t see him being faster than Bond but good for him. Shut it down after the first 40. Pretty obvious he’s going to ride the politics after running that time.
Tre Harris (Mississippi)
Measurables: Height (6-2 3/8), Weight (205), Arm Length (31 7/8), Wingspan (78 1/4), Hand (9 5/8)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.54), 10-Yard Split (1.56), Vertical Jump (38.5), Broad Jump (10’5″), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 5, Week 6, Week 7, Week 11, Week 13
Needed faster than that. No on field. No idea how you shut it down after an average run time. Spent a lot of the year in and out of the lineup hurt.
Jayden Higgins (Iowa State)
Measurables: Height (6-4 1/8), Weight (214), Arm Length (33 1/4), Wingspan (80), Hand (9 1/8)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.47), 10-Yard Split (1.53), Vertical Jump (39), Broad Jump (10’8″), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Conference Championships, Pop-Tarts Bowl, Senior Bowl (1), (2), (3), Game
Nice time for his size. Wasn’t super speedy on the gauntlet. More so not trying to screw up and drop. When sped up, wasn’t going straight on the line. He’s passing the test. For his height he’s moving great and actually holding up route running. Really held his own.
Traeshon Holden (Oregon)
Measurables: Height (6-2 1/8), Weight (205), Arm Length (31 5/8), Wingspan (78 1/2), Hand (9 7/8)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.57), 10-Yard Split (1.54), Vertical Jump (32), Broad Jump (10’3″), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 7, East-West (1)
Was on the right side of the line the whole time on the gauntlet. No drop issues though. I was expecting far more. Ball went right through his hands from Cook and it’s not like he has a crazy burst either. You see more why he struggled to crack Oregon’s lineup. No sharpness in and out of breaks. Borderline hate his route running. Just didn’t have nearly the level of explosion I thought he would.
Jimmy Horn Jr. (Colorado)
Measurables: Height (5-8 1/8), Weight (174), Arm Length (30 3/8), Wingspan (74 1/2), Hand (8 3/4)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.46), 10-Yard Split (1.54), Vertical Jump (38), Broad Jump (10’8″), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (4.41), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 1
Play speed is real. Went through the gauntlet in a blink. Super quick. Probably best play speed at gauntlet. Very impressed. Zooming around making plays. I’m falling for him more. Guy zooms and just does the damn thing with plus play speed. Vertical speed more than passed too. Guy makes it easy for whoever is throwing to him. Fantastic day.
Tory Horton (Colorado State)
Measurables: Height (6-2 1/2), Weight (196), Arm Length (30 5/8), Wingspan (77), Hand (9)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.41), 10-Yard Split (1.53), Vertical Jump (37.5), Broad Jump (N/A), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: (2024 Week 3)
Ran but no on field. Ran plenty fast for me and I already know he can run routes and get open. Wasn’t healthy this year but year before was awesome.
Kobe Hudson (UCF)
Measurables: Height (6-0 3/4), Weight (193), Arm Length (30 5/8), Wingspan (75 1/4), Hand (9)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.57), 10-Yard Split (1.54), Vertical Jump (35), Broad Jump (10’2″), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 1, Week 3
Down the line fine on the gauntlet but not overly fast. Catching it well but not super quick. Wasn’t blown away but overall solid.
Travis Hunter (Colorado)
Measurables: Height (6-0 3/8), Weight (188), Arm Length (31 3/8), Wingspan (76 7/8), Hand (9 1/8)
NFL Draft Stock Report: (Refer to CB Notes)
Ohtani did not workout.
Daniel Jackson (Minnesota)
Measurables: Height (5-10 3/4), Weight (193), Arm Length (30 3/4), Wingspan (74 3/4), Hand (9)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (N/A), 10-Yard Split (N/A), Vertical Jump (N/A), Broad Jump (N/A), 3-Cone (6.78), 20-Yard Shuffle (4.07), Bench (N/A)
Did not workout. No idea why don’t think he’s good anyway.
Tez Johnson (Oregon)
Measurables: Height (5-9 7/8), Weight (154), Arm Length (29 3/8), Wingspan (73 3/4), Hand (9)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.51), 10-Yard Split (1.53), Vertical Jump (37), Broad Jump (10’11”), 3-Cone (6.65), 20-Yard Shuffle (4.15), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 6, Week 8, Conference Championships, Rose Bowl, Senior Bowl (1), (2), (3)
Not fast enough for being that tiny. Showed at Senior Bowl he’s quicker and can really create space to get open. Very tiny. 154 is crazy small for any NFL player. Swerving really bad in gauntlet. Among the worst to do it. Caught it well but also cheating. Drop issue on the next gauntlet. Better in the route running quickness department. Bad drop on the post corner and didn’t run the route like it should have been. Did a great job high pointing on the fade. Got some leaps to him but a pretty disappointing day.
Josh Kelly (Texas Tech)
Measurables: Height (6-0 5/8), Weight (186), Arm Length (30 7/8), Wingspan (76 5/8), Hand (10 1/2)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.70), 10-Yard Split (1.56), Vertical Jump (33), Broad Jump (10’1″), 3-Cone (7.02), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
Dirt slow. Fell over and ate it on the gauntlet. Would trust Chickster to get open more than this clown. Slow and not any better when route running started. Can’t run under the post corner. Doesn’t belong and totally sucks.
KeAndre Lambert-Smith (Auburn)
Measurables: Height (6-0 3/4), Weight (190), Arm Length (32 5/8), Wingspan (78 5/8), Hand (9 1/8)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.37), 10-Yard Split (1.53), Vertical Jump (34.5), Broad Jump (10’4″), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 2, Week 14, East-West (1), (2), (3), (4)
Nice run time. Dropped one on the gauntlet but straight down the line gliding well. Not just fast. Play speed there. Cuts are nice. Zooming on this sail route. Check mark on the comeback route. Looks like a real player.
Jaylin Lane (Virginia Tech)
Measurables: Height (5-9 3/4), Weight (191), Arm Length (31 3/4), Wingspan (77 1/4), Hand (9 7/8)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.34), 10-Yard Split (1.50), Vertical Jump (40), Broad Jump (11’0″), 3-Cone (6.75), 20-Yard Shuffle (4.12), Bench (14)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Senior Bowl (1), (2), (3)
Can run. Going fast on the gauntlet but swerving. Nice cut on the in route. Might be more than just a fast guy. Routes were good.
Dominic Lovett (Georgia)
Measurables: Height (5-10), Weight (185), Arm Length (31 3/8), Wingspan (75 5/8), Hand (9 1/4)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.40), 10-Yard Split (1.53), Vertical Jump (33.5), Broad Jump (10’0″), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (4.27), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 1, Week 5, Week 10, Week 11, Week 14, Sugar Bowl, East-West (1), (3), (4)
Fast time for a slot guy. Drifting to one side on the gauntlet but decent play speed. Poor man McConkey. Doing his thing. No issue stop and starts. Loves getting B’s on the report card. Got a lot of good. Not a lot of elite.
Bru McCoy (Tennessee)
Measurables: Height (6-2 1/2), Weight (209), Arm Length (32 1/8), Wingspan (78 1/2), Hand (10)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 4, Week 8
Did not workout in any capacity.
Tetairoa McMillan (Arizona)
Measurables: Height (6-4 1/8), Weight (219), Arm Length (31 1/2), Wingspan (77 7/8), Hand (10)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 3, Week 8
Did not workout. 40 time wouldn’t have been there but he’s also safely the best receiver in the class so there’s no need to complain here.
Konata Mumpfield (Pittsburgh)
Measurables: Height (5-11 3/8), Weight (186), Arm Length (29 3/8), Wingspan (74 3/8), Hand (8 1/2)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.59), 10-Yard Split (1.54), Vertical Jump (36), Broad Jump (10’4″), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: GameAbove Sports Bowl, East-West (1), (2), (3), (4)
Slow. Not impressed during East-West. Not going straight cheating the gauntlet but nice hands. Routes are fine. Very pedestrian player. Nobody blown away by this guy. Tripping over himself falling over on out route. He’s not it. Whatever it is he’s not is. Comeback route not it. Looking at the ground trying to change back. Guy hurt himself on the fade ball by being uncoordinated. Pay attention and the answers will find you. Stinks, Sucks, use whatever word you want. TRASH city.
Nick Nash (San Jose State)
Measurables: Height (6-2 1/2), Weight (203), Arm Length (31), Wingspan (76 1/2), Hand (8 3/4)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.57), 10-Yard Split (1.54), Vertical Jump (34), Broad Jump (10’3″), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: East-West (1), (3), (4)
Play speed on gauntlet not good. Drifting back and forth on gauntlet but caught it. Rounding corners no grease lightning. Pedestrian with height.
Isaiah Neyor (Nebraska)
Measurables: Height (6-4 1/4), Weight (218), Arm Length (34 3/8), Wingspan (82 5/8), Hand (9 1/2)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.40), 10-Yard Split (1.51), Vertical Jump (38), Broad Jump (11’1″), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 2, Week 4, Week 8, East-West (3), (4)
Fast height, weight, speed guy. Dropped three balls on the gauntlet and couldn’t stay straight to save his life. Faster than actually good. Play speed is there. Routes just aren’t clean. Lacks balance. Few times needed to recenter and use hands on ground for balance. Dropped the fade ball. He’s just not clean in what he does. Everything he does feels unrefined but hopeful more can come down the line all at the same time.
Jaylin Noel (Iowa State)
Measurables: Height (5-10 1/4), Weight (194), Arm Length (29 1/2), Wingspan (73 3/4), Hand (8 3/4)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.39), 10-Yard Split (1.51), Vertical Jump (41.5), Broad Jump (11’2″), 3-Cone (6.82), 20-Yard Shuffle (4.17), Bench (23)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Conference Championships, Pop-Tarts Bowl, Senior Bowl (1), (2), (3), Game
Nowhere near straight on gauntlet. Cheating the drill. Have never been a fan of this player. Routes not good. Hard to take seriously the way he runs routes. Rounding corners. Lacks balance. Makes it harder for QB than it needs to be. Inconsistent movements. He can kinda run but no idea what else he does well. I’ll give him this. No egregious drops. There I tried to be nice. I like Higgins the other Iowa State guy better. Jumped very well. Comeback route was clean. 23 bench reps is really encouraging.
Kaden Prather (Maryland)
Measurables: Height (6-3 1/2), Weight (204), Arm Length (31 7/8), Wingspan (77 5/8), Hand (9 1/4)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.46), 10-Yard Split (1.53), Vertical Jump (30), Broad Jump (9’6″), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
Shaky gauntlet. Not ideal play speed with drops mixed in. Can cut and get to brakes. Takes time to switch gears. Faster than quick. The other Maryland guy Felton looks way better in comparison. Some of the worst jumping numbers in the group.
Xavier Restrepo (Miami)
Measurables: Height (5-9 7/8), Weight (209), Arm Length (29 3/8), Wingspan (71 5/8), Hand (9 1/8)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (N/A), 10-Yard Split (N/A), Vertical Jump (N/A), Broad Jump (N/A), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (17)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 1, Week 4, Week 5, Week 6, Week 8, Week 9, Week 10, Week 11, Week 14, Senior Bowl (1), (2), (3)
Did not run but did on field. Beautiful gauntlet and really smooth. Easy to move in space. Choppy steps and working it. Crafty would be best way to describe him. Footwork is there. Strength is too.
Jalen Royals (Utah State)
Measurables: Height (6-0), Weight (205), Arm Length (30 1/8), Wingspan (73 3/4), Hand (9 1/2)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.42), 10-Yard Split (1.49), Vertical Jump (N/A), Broad Jump (N/A), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (13)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Senior Bowl (1), (2)
Ok gauntlet. Nothing crazy but passed. Routes were fine. Wasn’t blown away but passable. Don’t hate him but unsure of ceiling. Catches it well. Actually moving well. I don’t have real complaints. Speed pretty good. Not sure what to make of him. Not overly big but has something.
Arian Smith (Georgia)
Measurables: Height (6-0 1/8), Weight (179), Arm Length (31 1/4), Wingspan (77), Hand (9)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.36), 10-Yard Split (1.51), Vertical Jump (38), Broad Jump (10’7″), 3-Cone (6.82), 20-Yard Shuffle (4.19), Bench (N/A)
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 1, Week 5, Week 7, Week 10, Week 12, Week 14, Conference Championships, Sugar Bowl, Senior Bowl (2), (3), Game
Fast but not a good football player. Serious drop issues in college. Shocked he caught all the gauntlet reps. More of a combine player than a football player. At least he showed up today. Finally had a drop on an underthrown by Leonard. He’s almost so fast that he takes himself off the track out of control.
Roc Taylor (Memphis)
Measurables: Height (6-1 7/8), Weight (213), Arm Length (32 1/4), Wingspan (78 1/4), Hand (9)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.49), 10-Yard Split (1.53), Vertical Jump (30.5), Broad Jump (10’2″), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
Nice gauntlet. Not overly fast but straight down the line. No explosion in the cuts. Rounding corners. Not sharp. He’s trying but can tell just not overly talented.
Isaac TeSlaa (Arkansas)
Measurables: Height (6-3 5/8), Weight (214), Arm Length (31 1/8), Wingspan (76 3/4), Hand (10)

NFL Draft Stock Report: Senior Bowl (1)
Fast on the gauntlet. Caught it well while moving at a good pace. Play speed good. Surprised he’s pretty complete route runner. Dude can kinda play. Crazy good adjustment on a deep ball to reel in a catch.
Dont’e Thornton Jr. (Tennessee)

NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 14
Blazing time for his size. Did well at the East-West. Feels like he could have gone faster on the gauntlet but caught all the balls. Liked everything I saw. Not like he’s just fast. Could use work but more polished than I thought. No question he has a burst. Someone smart has to figure out a plan. Can’t see how he’s not something. Think he stopped early to shut it down midway through the workout. I would know for sure but the broadcast is worthless so that’s up in the air.
Jordan Watkins (Mississippi)
Measurables: Height (5-11 1/4), Weight (196), Arm Length (29 3/8), Wingspan (72 1/2), Hand (9 1/8)

NFL Draft Stock Report: Gator Bowl
Going fast on the gauntlet and converted. Routes not perfect but zooming. Play speed matches vertical speed. Mover. Whip routes were on point.
Theo Wease Jr. (Missouri)

NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 12, Music City Bowl
Ran but no on field and the 40 wasn’t nearly impressive enough to shut it down.
Antwane Wells Jr. (Mississippi)

NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 6, Week 13, Gator Bowl, East-West (1), (2), (3), Game
Looked permanently injured at times. Good to see he wasn’t a snail. Way off the line in the gauntlet and dropped the last one. Takes that extra half second to gather what he wants to do. Missing that gear. No crazy giddy up.
LaJohntay Wester (Colorado)
Measurables: Height (5-9 5/8), Weight (163), Arm Length (29 3/4), Wingspan (72 5/8), Hand (8 5/8)

NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 8, Week 12, East-West (1)
Dropped first over the shoulder attempt. Shaky hands in gauntlet. Dropped one and almost dropped another but moving fine. Serious issues with the drops. Every other attempt ball is on the ground. No question he can move. Not an issue in that area. Has a burst off the cuts. Horn feels to be at even better of a gear. Has that extra jump in the short area. Just can’t catch to save his life.
Ricky White III (UNLV)
Measurables: Height (6-1 1/8), Weight (184), Arm Length (31 3/4), Wingspan (76), Hand (9 1/4)

NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 9, Week 14, Conference Championships, East-West (1), (2), (4)
Not a burner but quicker than fast. Caught it well but not moving overly fast in gauntlet. Route running much better than vertical speed. Can tell he can get open. Short area is nice.
Kyle Williams (Washington State)
Measurables: Height (5-10 5/8), Weight (190), Arm Length (30 1/8), Wingspan (73), Hand (8 3/4)
Athletic Testing: 40-Yard Dash (4.40), 10-Yard Split (1.55), Vertical Jump (36.5), Broad Jump (9’11”), 3-Cone (N/A), 20-Yard Shuffle (N/A), Bench (N/A)
Dropped first over the shoulder look. Not even close to staying straight on the line. To the left side of it constantly. Bad drop issues. Botched another over the middle. Tripping over himself bad on the whip route. Routes are just not good. Took six extra steps to make a simple comeback. Nothing here to see.
Savion Williams (TCU)
Measurables: Height (6-3 7/8), Weight (22), Arm Length (32 1/2), Wingspan (80 7/8), Hand (10 1/4)

NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 3
Broadcast is refusing to show Savion Williams. They’re cutting it early. No idea if he’s out there doing stuff or not. Blame NFL Network for being ignorant. Their broadcast stinks but that’s a story for another day. We were an hour into the drills before we saw one rep of the guy. His family should sue NFL Network for negligence. By the way, looked good moving. The one rep we saw Milroe missed him. Movement skills are there.
Vendetta Sports Media Post Combine Wide Receiver Rankings:
1: Travis Hunter (Colorado) *Also listed as the number one cornerback*
2: Tetairoa McMillan (Arizona)
3: Emeka Egbuka (Ohio State)
4: Luther Burden (Missouri)
5: Tre Harris (Ole Miss)
6: Dont’e Thornton (Tennessee)
7: Tory Horton (Colorado State)
8: Tez Johnson (Oregon)
9: KeAndre Lambert-Smith (Auburn)
10: Jimmy Horn Jr. (Colorado)
*If I’m excluding Travis Hunter, bump everyone up a spot and imagine Matthew Golden (Texas) as number ten. I am also tempted to make it Jack Bech from TCU so let’s call it a tie for 10. Tempted to put Restrepo too. I’ve started at this list way too long. It’s easily the least confident I’ve felt ranking the wide receiver position. Mostly because there are no high end monsters.
