Keion White 2023 NFL Draft Profile
Good luck. I get the intrigue but I’m not sure I’d be able to sleep at night turning the card in here with a high pick. We will walk through this journey together and you can decide for yourself whether you’re in or out on one of the great mysteries in the 2023 NFL Draft. Here is your Keion White 2023 NFL Draft profile!
The recruiting profile is just weird. Trust me, it’s not their fault. I have a lot of respect for the recruiting industry. I’m just going to go out on a limb and just say that predicting a 230 pound tight end to become a 285 pound defensive lineman seems a bit ridiculous, not? I advise you to feel the same about White’s draft stock. I have no clue and anyone telling you a different answer is lying.
Former two star tight end becomes an intriguing defensive line project. He’s a lump of clay. Wasn’t nearly dominant enough at the Senior Bowl to make you sway in his favor. The sample size is also just incredibly short. Didn’t play at all during the COVID year. That was mostly because he played for Old Dominion. Transfers to Georgia Tech and gets hurt almost immediately. This past year notches 7.5 sacks on a putrid Georgia Tech team nobody wanted to watch.
I don’t see any nuance with his pass rush. Comes at you but it’s all in the same way. Really strong. Good size and ripped out 30 reps on the bench press. The ceiling is high. No question. When it all clicks the guy looks really good and I can’t emphasize how big he looks. It’s a thick 6-foot-5 and it’s hard to move as well as he does at that size.
Good luck. That’s all I’m going to say. This is a flier pick you take in the third round after you hopefully traded down to allow yourself for a few darts. I’m not willing to go higher.
