Barstool founder Dave Portnoy said on a recent episode of his show that Deion Sanders is a perfect fit with the Barstool community. It’s hard to really disagree. (Barstool Image)

Dave Portnoy Calls Deion Sanders A Perfect Fit For Barstool

There is no question that Barstool’s decision to hire Deion Sanders away from NFL Network was a smart one. The man known as Prime hasn’t just fit Barstool perfectly. Deion has also bought into their culture while helping growing his own brand.

On the most recent episode of The Dave Portnoy Show, Barstool’s founder talked about how Deion Sanders has fit the company so well. Portnoy loves having Deion around and vice versa.

Any time you hire a high profile athlete, you have to wonder how he or she will fit in. Deion has been team Barstool from day one. Deion is engaged with the Barstool community and often interacts with other personalities.

One thing that Portnoy touched on is true. Deion is very smart and calculated. Now the head coach at Jackson State, Prime is dominating the landscape quickly. Jackson State just beat Edward Waters 53-0 in the first week of the season. Why did Florida State turn him down again?

I think it’s fair to say the Sanders hire has gone better than expected. He’s done more than what Portnoy and Big Cat talked about when they first initially hired him.

In other Barstool news, Jeff Nadu quit. That was discussed as well during that most recent episode of the Dave Portnoy Show. It’s now been confirmed that Rico Bosco essentially bullied Nadu out of a job. Rico got exactly what he wanted and that was Nadu out the door.
