2023 Fantasy Football OnlyFans: Quarterbacks

We’re looking for happy endings in fantasy football. That’s why we have our OnlyFans list! Who needs more love? Who needs more subs to their name? That right there is the goal for today. It’s time to identify the league winners that everyone else is snoozing on. Here are your 2023 Fantasy Football OnlyFans at the quarterback position.

*This needs to be stated again just as I did in the cheese post for quarterbacks. This column is for two-quarterback leagues. If you play in a one QB league you’re a loser and not worth my time.

Ryan Tannehill (Tennessee Titans)

I get it. Last year was ugly and I’m not denying that. However, I’d encourage you to dip your toe in when it comes to picking Tannehill in 2023. Don’t need to go all the way in. Just a toe dip will do.

Maybe Tannehill eventually loses his job but I believe he can help you for the first half of the season. Last year Tannehill didn’t have anybody to throw the ball to. The Titans signal caller finished as the 27th-best quarterback in fantasy in 2022. I just don’t think that tells the whole story. They lost AJ Brown and Tannehill had nobody to throw the ball to. If you go back to 2021, Tannehill finished as the 12th-best quarterback in fantasy.

Now we insert DeAndre Hopkins into the lineup. Are you telling me Tannehill can’t be serviceable again? Tannehill threw 13 touchdowns last year. Hopkins might get 13 by himself this year. If Tannehill gets back to that 22 touchdown mark and adds some rushing totals in there, he’s completely undervalued in fantasy right now.

I’d expect a slight rebound, which again, is still a bargain in fantasy based on the fact that he’s essentially free in leagues.

Mac Jones (New England Patriots)

The Patriots look like a mess but I have a hard time believing they will be as a mess as they were a year ago. Coaching matters and just having a grown-up in the building with Bill O’Brien is going to pay dividends. Jones was basically worthless in fantasy last year. Something we totally nailed. This year, I think Jones will be a functional QB2 in fantasy. For the record – Functional, not great, or life-changing. That’s still better than where he is currently ranked.

As a rookie, Mac finished as QB18. Why can’t he get there again now that the Patriots have a real offensive coordinator again? I don’t love the weapons but I have a hard time believing the Patriots are going to be completely terrible with Bill Belichick. They have never been completely terrible. For a guy that’s basically free, I’d be willing to buy on the low.

Brock Purdy / Sam Darnold (San Francisco 49ers)

You can laugh all you want but Kyle Shanahan is one of the best coaches in the league. His offense will be productive regardless of who is under center. If they play for Shanahan, I like their odds. As Jackson said in his Brock Purdy post, we’re talking about a guy that finished as a top ten fantasy quarterback last year in points per game.

Purdy threw for at least two touchdowns in every single game he started last year. Why am I supposed to pretend that can’t happen again with an offense that possesses Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, and George Kittle? Coaching matters and as long as Shanahan is there, his quarterback will find a way to perform.

I have a hard time believing Purdy isn’t ranked significantly higher if the elbow thing doesn’t happen. Even if Purdy doesn’t start, I’ll more than happily take Sam Darnold who finished the season really strong with Carolina. Shanahan also called him the next Steve Young so I’m not sure we can ignore that.

If you’re telling me I can have a Shanahan quarterback for free, I will happily take him while I laugh in your face for being dumb.

Kyler Murray (Arizona Cardinals)

I totally understand not wanting any piece of the Cardinals for fantasy. They look like the worst team in the league on paper. We also know that fantasy isn’t the same as real football. Kyler Murray is still going to rack up rushing totals which means he’s going for a bargain in fantasy.

Murray may miss the start of the season, but I’m fine with that. Especially if it’s the reason why I get him at a discount. Murray finished as the 8th-best quarterback in fantasy in points per game last year. In 2021, he was a top ten play at the position despite missing three games. In 2020, Murray was the second best quarterback in fantasy period.

You can rank him low but history has continued to show that Kyler puts up fantasy points. It’s moronic to rank him this low. Fade Arizona all you want. All it means is Kyler will be in more shootouts. Fine by me!

Bryce Young (Carolina Panthers)

I normally don’t go in on rookie quarterbacks for re-draft leagues. Bryce Young also isn’t a normal rookie quarterback. Young is about as ready to play as any rookie signal caller in recent memory. If you want to revisit the draft profile we did on him, this is your link to do so.

Young may be a smaller quarterback but his rushing totals will be there more than you expect. Especially early compared to later in his career. I fancy the Panthers to win the division and being in the NFC South is a great place to be. The weapons aren’t terrible either. You can do worse than Adam Thielen, DJ Moore, Terrace Marshall, and Jonathan Mingo.

Trusting rookie quarterbacks is a fool’s errand. Not in this case. I’m in on Young to be a functional QB two in fantasy.

Jordan Love (Green Bay Packers)

Buying Jordan Love stock will surely come back to haunt me after I wrote several negative things about him during the pre-draft process. I’d argue Love was still the wrong pick. At the same breathe, this is fantasy and I don’t hate buying stock in the Packers quarterback.

The Packers did the right thing and took care of Love. They gave him time to learn when he clearly wasn’t ready to play. The short sample size last year was really encouraging. It’s a wide open division and the situation isn’t a bad one to be in. I’m actually taking Green Bay to win the North.

You can do worse than Matt LeFleur. The young weapons in Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson should take a step forward. Both running backs (Aaron Jones & AJ Dillon) can catch the football. You might even get some rushing totals out of Love. I like the dart throw.

Kenny Pickett (Pittsburgh Steelers)

I am nervous about the play calling. Matt Canada really makes me hesitant to pull the trigger here. Everything else should be a reason as to why you should buy.

Pickett is a really underrated runner and I don’t think people have caught on. Pickett rushed for 237 yards and three touchdowns a year ago in 12 starts. What happens if that number climbs to 400 yards and five touchdowns over a full season? He has that in him and I don’t understand why the fantasy rankers haven’t factored that in.

Pickett is basically going for free and I think it’s a mistake. Pickett threw for seven touchdowns last season. It’s hard to imagine that number won’t be in the 20s over a full season heading into year two. Adding the rushing totals in there, it’s hard to fathom why Pickett can’t be a really nasty fantasy play.

The weapons are good too. I like Diontae Johnson and George Pickens. Pat Freiermuth is a good tight end too. This is one of my favorite dart throws out there.

Tua Tagovailoa (Miami Dolphins)

Yes, I will continue to drink the Dolphins’ Kool-Aid. Tua was a top ten quarterback in fantasy for points per game last season. I’m just never going to be the person that predicts injuries. If Tua is healthy, he’s a fantasy rockstar.

In theory, the Dolphins should only just be scratching the surface. Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill is arguably the best wide receiver duo in the league. It’s year two for Mike McDaniel who has proven to be a clever play caller.

For the record, last year I traded Tua away. This year I’m buying. I think he’s due for a big year. Last year we saw the flashes. This year it all comes together.

Trevor Lawrence (Jacksonville Jaguars)

I genuinely think Trevor Lawrence is the league winner at the quarterback position this year. Everything is coming up Lawrence and wouldn’t be surprised at all if he has a top 3 finish at the position. This is going to be the last year you get Lawrence at a discount so I advise that you take advantage while you can.

I think we forget how good this guy is. I think he’s already a top five option at the position in real life. It’s only a matter of time before that translates to fantasy. The touchdown totals jumped from 12 as a rookie to 25 in year two. That number is going to be in the 30s this year. I can promise you that.

Doug Pederson is back for year two which helps. We’re also talking about a team that just added Calvin Ridley who should be deemed as a total game changer. Lawrence’s stat line should jump just from adding Ridley alone.

Lawrence is also an underrated rusher. I can’t see why he can’t replicate the five rushing scores he had a year ago.

I’m buying and I just need to warn you now. This is the last year you will ever get him for this price. Buy now while you still can.
