Year 7 Vendetta State Of The Union

I know I’m late with the State of the Union this year but it sums up where things stand right now. Trey is tired but I knew this day was coming. Think of Trey as the home alone kid right now. There is so much work to be done setting up all of these traps. It feels almost impossible doing it by myself. I’ve been counted out and underestimated but I know I will win this war. I caution you to bet against Trey.

I know the road that lies ahead. I see very clearly. Once the traps have been set, it’s going to be set up for cinematic theater. It’s a matter of who will be on the right side of history. Can you also see the light? I know it’s near. It’s not near. I know I’ve already won. The day of the revolution just hasn’t happened yet but I’m counting down the days.

2025 is a year of entrenching roots for what’s to come.

2025 is a year of invention and innovation that will set Vendetta Sports Media apart from any other network that exists.

2025 is a year of vengeance and conquering lands far beyond the mental reach of the people who roam this world today.

Then is then.

Now is now.

2025 is a year of a fork in the road. Will you be part of the winner’s circle or will you lie with those who have fallen only to see a Viking funeral carry you off to what could have been?

Those who do not understand history are doomed to repeat it. They can’t kill me because I’ve already died. I’ve been sent on a mission to fulfill the prophecy. This industry will burn and it will be covered in a lot of orange… and some green too. I know Chickster hates the color scheme but if we think like the Yankees in here, we will lose to the Yankees out there. Luckily, times are changing the Yankees have been coming up short year after year. Mostly because the people with balls are slowly dying and ones who still remain will run all over the people coming up through the world today. You haven’t seen the best of savage Trey and you will fear him when that time comes.

Strong people create good times.

Good times create weak people.

Weak people create bad times.

Bad times create strong people.

Strong people create good times.

It’s a cycle that continues to repeat over and over and over and over again.

I’ll let you be the judge of where things stand with the pirate ship but I think you can figure that part out if you’re smart enough.

Truthfully, my biggest fear is that the wave of leadership that takes over after Trey is gone will create more bad times. I know I’ve already won. I know a wave of good times are around the corner. I’m a small piece of a much larger cycle. The fantasy gods, karma gods, gematria gods, and universe have already decided I’ve won. It’s written in the stars. I guarantee it.

Can Trey become something that’s remembered and transforms generations far after he’s gone? I hope to do so and I know my best chance to do so is through proper leadership. I’ve done it before in a past life and will do it again. I fear that Chickster’s daughter will blow my brains out like Old Yeller in the back of the building when I lose my mind but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there. We have a long run before that to make things right and change the world.

Leadership can solve a lot of problems and the number one reason why we grow stronger year after year is because of it. Leadership is about being part of something greater than ourselves. Command the message. Lead by example. I wouldn’t trade our culture for anybody’s because if I did, we would have gone out of business a long time ago.

We’re not interested in passing out cupcakes around here. I’m not in this for the money, although plenty of it will be on the horizon. I’ve learned that humans are social seekers. Not truth-seeking animals. That’s the difference between you and me. The other media companies out there surround themselves with people who are devoted, not loyal.

It’s why Matthew Berry hired a guy who told him “I like it” when he had the single worst call in the history of fantasy football.

I learned a long time ago that people who are devoted and tell you what you want to hear get pushed up the ladder. The people who are honest and loyal often get pushed aside. The mainstream media sits on a throne of lies. In 1000 out of 1000 simulations on how this goes, the mountain of lies always comes crashing down. You’re seeing a fraction of it play out in the short term too.

Seriously. We humiliated “the face” of fantasy football AGAIN. It’s all documented. How much longer can the industry ignore me? They know they can’t and I hear from them more than you think I do.

Side note: Anybody peep that Fox Sports lawsuit? Did Joy Taylor *allegedly* screw her way to the top (and a huge hypocrite but that’s a story for another)? The people at the top of this industry have a lot of skeletons in the closet and it shows.

That’s the difference between you and me. It’s why Vendetta will thrive in the coming years. We have created an army of soldatos who are loyal, not devoted. I’m told what I need to hear, not what I want to hear… at least I hope that’s the case. The Chinese Farmer always says maybe and we must always be mindful of the lessons he preaches.

Smart people learn from their mistakes.

The smartest people learn from other people’s mistakes.

I’ve been learning from all of your mistakes from the time I was told I should have been aborted by my own mother. Except I know I’m supposed to be here. I’ve lived past lives and played important roles in all of them. I’m not like you. I see things that other people don’t see. You may think I’m crazy and I’m not arguing with you. I just know I wouldn’t trade because as lonely as it is to be Trey sometimes, I can’t imagine not being me. If not me, then who can possibly do what we aim to accomplish in the coming years?

I’ve been learning from your mistakes. Having a borderline photographic memory is a blessing I thank the universe for every day. I haven’t been just learning from your mistakes. I’ve been doing it since the age of 3. It’s like learning a language. You can do it but it won’t ever be engrained the same way as when you’re young. You can’t buy time or class. Just remember that and boujie Trey is going to be SEXY AF. Just remember that.

There are four types of scouts.

The poor scout who doesn’t know anything. I see plenty of you and laugh at all of you while remaining mindful of the Chinese Farmer at the same time. Shout out to the Bears fans.

The Picker scout who picks one thing and it clouds his or her judgment. Instead of viewing the 40-yard dash as an element to the evaluation, the picker scout can’t let it go as an example. I see plenty of you daily. Your bias shows and it’s a hideous look. No grosser than the meatloaf loving scumbags who love using the hindsight bias mechanism at their disposal while hating themselves at the same time.

The production scout who makes every decision based on numbers. I’ve learned these people often take the path of least resistance. There is no accountability in the chart. Numbers lie every day and the production scout will eat the cheese no matter how hard it comes back to bite them. There’s a lot of nerds who continue to get jobs based on a chart. The karma gods always take care of them one way or another.

Trey isn’t interested in taking the path of least resistance. Trey is the best projection scout in the industry. Whether it be internal or external, I see very clearly. Human evolution is real and I see. I see it all. Maybe is the way of life. The answers exist. It’s our job to find them.

Evaluate the evaluator. The past work we’ve already done speaks for itself. You will not find better information on the Internet. Did anybody else have Bucky Irving as their RB1?

What about the evaluation on Ladd McConkey?

Trey is the most talented motherf***r in the industry and it’s not arguable. It’s not meant to sound egotistical. It’s just the truth because the truth of the matter is, nobody else is capable of building the foundation we’re currently building. Whether it be, Fantasy football (Trey won and would have won every single league I was in this year, Fantasy hockey (still haven’t lost #undefeated), fantasy basketball (Uh oh…), fantasy baseball, MLB, NHL, NBA, NFL, college football, UFC, soccer, and even gaming… Vendetta Sports Media will emerge as an unstoppable force in the years to come. If Trey wasn’t Trey, I’m fully aware a lot of the future stars we have would have left a long time ago.

The secret to all victory lies in the organization of the non-obvious. We here at VSM believe we have accomplished just that. The Vendetta Fantasy Contest platform will pave the way for future organizational sustainability and success. The foundation for that is still in the process of being built but the world will soon learn the non-obvious is something VSM has captured to fulfill the mission we set out to accomplish seven years ago.

Never forget why you call this place Vendetta. Cheers to 2025 being the best year yet. Revisit this post this time next year and I believe you will be proud of what’s being built over here.

Internal & External Statements

I think Garrett hit the nail on the head here. The team has totally run out of competitive stamina minus a small handful. At this point, I’m done trying to pull it out of them. It’s their life and if they aren’t willing to do everything in their power to pursue peak happiness then they aren’t worth my time. It is what it is. It’s to be determined on how many get to see the light through the channel of victory.

Frankly, it’s sad and it’s disappointing but it makes me realize why the established media doesn’t give people like me chances. I’m from the backwoods of Pennslyvania. Why take the risk on that when 99% of society rolls over when the going gets tough and we’ve seen plenty roll over and leave during my time doing this. I almost see their point of view, and then remember how insane you have to be to be one of these sports owners and prefer losing over calling Trey.

Is there a single person who left this company out there killing it elsewhere? Please point me in their direction if that’s the case. Including the loser who got sniped and acted like a sour pus once he caught the attention of Colin Cowherd. Trust me, I know the mainstream losers out there know who I am and I also know they’re terrified of me. They’re just hoping I go away but they’re in for a rude awakening in the future. Seriously, the list is zero…

I really hope the team regains their spirit of competitive stamina. Maybe the shiny Las Vegas sun will do that for them. Whomst knows. All I know is the hungry dogs feel like they would rather starve to death. I also hope they don’t expect hands outs when that time comes because the production we get right now isn’t close to the standard of excellence I set on a daily basis. You’re either coaching it or allowing it to happen. Right now I guess I’m allowing it to happen but it’s more of a case that I’d hope those people would follow suit. That you get this one life and I’m going to do everything in my power to make it work by showing up each and every day. Life is about choices and a lot of choices can’t be hidden. I’m not positive if we need reinforcements on top of the quality people we have or if we just don’t have the right people in the room but 2025 will reveal a lot on that front.

Goals

Right now VSM is focused on building up the Vendetta Fantasy Contest platform. If you missed that announcement, feel free to catch up right here. 

Don’t forget about the non-obvious. The obvious is gambling and it isn’t going away. But what about the non-obvious? How does VSM distinguish itself to carve out a niche within the beast itself? 

We hope that’s what the Fantasy Contest platform accomplishes. Think of VFC as the non-alcoholic beer of gambling. You will be surprised by just how expansive this platform becomes. 

Sportsbooks are legally required to say “gamble responsibly” but there is no gamble responsibly platform. Think of us as the risk free platform to do just that. We believe this platform provides tremendous value to the public and it’s already been filed for patent. We believe that once you try it, you will keep coming back every single time, just like you do with any other fantasy league you’re in. 

I’m confident that sportsbooks will be eager to do business with us. If they’re smart, they will see the VFC platform as the ultimate gateway drug and I expect to be compensated as such for bringing this concept to light. 

I can’t do this alone. It’s up to you the people and the rest of the staff to take this platform to the moon where it belongs. We believe this is the future of sports media. 

It’s a matter of what gets done in the coming year. An app version carrying both the main site and VFC platform is in the works.

Leadership Agendas

The move to Las Vegas is still very much on. It’s just been delayed because the one man team of Trey can only do so much in a given day. As the company grows, more and more of your favorite VSM personalities will join me out there. Not all will but several will still be scattered in other places around the world. It’s up to them as much as it’s up to me to make that happen.
