Where Has The Pride At Vendetta Sports Media Gone?

Remember the days when we had post races to see if we could force survivor? The days where we had individuals writing upwards of 10 to 15 to 20 articles a day? When Karl wrote something like 30+ in a day? Remember when it seemed like anyone really gave a shit? Pepperidge Farm does. So do I. Maybe it’s on the vets to prop this place up, but right now there’s a bit of a lull and that’s something Vendetta Sports Media cannot afford entering 2025. We need to have a talk. 

Where has the pride gone? Why does it feel like no one cares at all right now? Let’s call a spade a spade: last year sucked. We as a staff have let Trey down. The post production is terrible. Are the calls also coming from inside the house? Sure. That’s fair. I’ll take responsibility for not doing as much as I wanted, and I’ll atone for that in 2025 by making sure my part is done. But we as a group have no choice but to be better in 2025. Take a look at this:

Look at this list and tell me how you feel confident right now. Seriously. 11 out of 31 days with ZERO ARTICLES. Another seven days with one article out.  From 12/19 to 12/29, we had seven articles go out. That’s 18/31 days with basically zero production outside of two to three people. I don’t necessarily want to call any people out so as to not stir the pot, but maybe that’s what we as a group need to get our shit together. 

It starts with the vets. We have to be better. I got 43 in December, and that’s a number I know could’ve been much higher. Chickster has one. Jackson Law had two all of 2024, the last article coming in AUGUST. Karl Heiser with four in December. Bagdonas six in December. No disrespect to Marzzman gaming but when he’s out posting some people on a day and monthly basis, we have a major issue. I’m not saying these things to try and cause issues, but if we want this place to take off it starts with us to lead by example. 

However, it isn’t ALL on us vets. Does Aarav still work here? Did Sabin fall off the face of the earth? Does Scott remember Vendetta exists? I saw him typing in a channel and never posted anything. Hmm. WWE guys non-existent. Kam is a ghost. These are people who helped out at one time or another but went complete ghost town on this place. 

Vendetta Sports Media should be taking over in 2025, but it starts with us. We all have to be better, for Trey. Six messages in December that he needed a break, struggling, out of gas. Why aren’t we all picking up the slack? Speaking of Slack, why are there really only five people who communicate on Slack channels? Why aren’t we more engaging? How come the tweets from our page don’t have multiple retweets, likes, comments, etc.? Engagement pushes tweets up the algorithm. We could literally be helping ourselves but we refuse to. 

I wanted to make this a video, but to spare everyone my lack of production quality I figured I best stick to the volume I can excel in. This isn’t meant to ruffle feathers, cause drama or tension, or whatever. So if this does cause you feel any sort of way, many apologies. But maybe that’s what we need. A kick in the ass. It takes 15 mins to claim a news post. You don’t have 15 free minutes in your day to claim ONE post? Miss me with that. 

Hopefully, 2025 is the year Vendetta Sports Media remembers who the hell we are. We decide to step on the throat of the completion and stop screwing around. The groundwork is in place. Push the Vendetta Fantasy Contests. Record videos for the YouTube channel. Write articles that you would be proud to see on the main page. Push one another to greatness, because that is what this group possesses. I can see it, I know Trey sees it, and I know this group sees it as well.
