Sports Media
Welcome back to Vendetta Random Posts, and the theme of week 2 is sports media. This is a new series I am doing weekly and last week’s post did decently well on views so let’s run this back again.
This is not as random as the rest of the blogs that got clicks last week, but Pierce was fired by ESPN after his wild Instagram live. But before he officially got fired this post was getting tons of clicks.
The NFL draft is creeping up on us, and mock draft season is fully here. Everyone and their mother has an opinion on how the picks will play out. Frelund’s was apparently so bad that not only Trey roasted her, but it is still getting clicks after a year.
Again the sports media world is still moving the needle, even at 4am (ET). Don’t ask why I was up at that time, but ask yourself why this series is discontinued. Mina Kimes is still around, but I still don’t even know what she does.
This one actually could be included on every week of this series, this shit gets views EVERYDAY. Simmons is a great writer, and has been for years at either ESPN or The Ringer. When he left ESPN to start his own thing, a lot of his audience followed and he had a pretty loyal core fanbase. The Ringer grew into something beyond just Simmons himself, he “sold out” and sold to Spotify.
This is another post that can be a staple in this series. I have personally read this blog over a dozen times just because of the headlines. The Jon Taffer gif is a 10/10. Chad killed this post so give it a read.
