You better be careful here. This guy will break your heart if you get carried away and it looks like someone is going to. Tyree Wilson is one of the most overrated prospects in the 2023 NFL Draft and I’m about to tell you why. Here is your 2023 NFL Draft profile!

For starters, the guy did nothing at Texas A&M. I mean nothing. There is zero production other than the last two years at Texas Tech in a weaker conference at an older age. It’s a big red flag to me when someone doesn’t show up early in their career. Those guys just shouldn’t go at the top of a draft. Wilson was just a three star recruit too during the 2018 class.

This is a total project and that should be made clear. 6-foot-6, almost 36 inch arms, and 271 should absolutely intrigue teams. I get the mystery but it’s very mystery. 14 sacks the last two years is cool but it also came in the Big 12. I just don’t get it outside of that. Where are the mega pass rushing moves because I don’t see them. Where is the nasty cause I don’t see that either. Also, have some injury stuff to worry about too. Didn’t work out at the Combine because of it.

I would take Tyree Wilson in the third down as a project pass rusher. Could easily be the Vernon Gholston of the draft. Not saying it’s impossible he makes it but the case that he’s better than Will Anderson is ridiculous.
