Jared Carrabis Leaves DraftKings
Jared Carrabis joined DraftKings on a huge money deal back in 2022. Less than two years later, he’s out the door. Carrabis has announced that he’s leaving the network that he ended up ditching Barstool Sports for.
The announcement comes via Twitter on the Name Redacted Podcast account.
Tyler Milliken also announced that he will be leaving as well. It appears wherever they’re going next, it will be some sort of package deal.
I’m just going to go on a side rant really quickly. Hopefully, avert your attention to another post that needs to be read with this news. I don’t know what DraftKings is doing with their content department, but they are really failing at it. Carrabis was one of the few things they had going for them.
Where will Carrabis and the gang go next? A return to Barstool appears obvious. Especially now that Barstool is now a DK partner. After the breakup Penn, Barstool could add Carrabis back to the fold. There are no road blocks anymore since DK is now a partner and not a direct competitor.
Another possible option could be returning to the Boston radio scene. Would he join NBC Sports Boston or something similar to that? I guess time will tell but Barstool feels like the heavy favorites to land him next. Regardless of what’s next, I don’t imagine his content will change too much. AKA being a heavy focus on covering the Red Sox along with the rest of the league.
