Dalton Kincaid & Kyle Pitts Finish TE1/2 at the end of the year
Tight end is such a weird position. Travis Kelce no longer feels like the king. Back in the day, he was worth the value because he just outscored everybody by 100 points. Now we’re coming off a season where rookie Sam LaPorta finished as TE1.
I talked about this in the tight end video but I want Dalton Kincaid and Kyle Pitts in every league I’m in. Kincaid is the number one pass catcher in the Bills offense and Pitts was too talented coming out of college for him to not figure it out. It’s time to buy in on both and they’re being ranked outside the top five in the position. It screams value that could very well win you your league.
Nick Chubb Is A League Winner
The Nick Chubb disrespect is out of control. He’s being ranked outside the top 40 running backs on basically any fantasy list you look at even though he’s probably the best actual talent at the position. We’re talking about a running back who has NEVER finished with below 5.0 yards per carry in any season. What exactly are people missing here?
I understand the injury concerns but there’s no risk where he’s being ranked. Worst case, you have to cut someone for a bye week kicker anyway. Chubb comes back strong and becomes a fantasy hero during the playoff weeks. Heed the warning.
Derrick Henry Finishes As A Top 3 Running Back
The King is not dead yet. The guy leads the league in carries basically every single year. Now he joins an offense with a running quarterback and a way more functional franchise. The Titans may have had the worst offensive line in football. The grass looks a lot greener in Baltimore.
Bet on Henry to have at least one more good year, especially in a new environment with the Ravens which should rejuvenate him. Henry finishes with 15+ rushing touchdowns and finishes inside the top 3 backs at the end of the season.
Sam Darnold Is A Top 20 QB
Superflex people who need a reliable QB2… consider Sam Darnold. The Vikings throw the ball a ton. A whopping 69% of the time in the final four weeks of the season. Which makes some sense given that former quarterback Kevin O’Connell runs their team.
Sam Darnold enters the best situation of his life. Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, a capable offensive line, Aaron Jones, and eventually TJ Hockenson is a drastic upgrade over what he had to work with in New York and Carolina. By the way, Adam Gase is out of the league and Matt Rhule got fired and went back to college. Darnold almost won the NFC South with Carolina and then they proceeded to have the worst record in the league when he left.
Darnold has a resurgent season and finishes inside the top 20 fantasy quarterbacks. Heed the warning!
Marvin Harrison Jr. Becomes The Next Calvin Johnson
I talked a little bit about this in a prior post but if you’re in a long term fantasy league, there is nobody more valuable. His dad is a Hall of Famer but this Harrison is 6-foot-4 and runs like a gazelle. Explain how this thing goes wrong? He’s too talented. Buy all the Marv stock you can. He’s the next Calvin Johnson.
