We’re rounding out the tight ends for the 2024 Fantasy Football Season. We already hit the Cheese list. Now the OnlyFans list piggybacks off of it. Once again, I’ll just kindly remind you that I kicked Matthew Berry’s ass last year and I’m going to keep bringing it up because I don’t need anything else to advertise how much better I am compared to the rest of the industry.
Mike Gesicki (Bengals)
The Bengals haven’t really produced a fantasy relevant tight end since when Tyler Eifert wasn’t hurt but maybe things will change. Things will probably not change but Tyler Boyd is gone and maybe those stupid inside targets will be on the table. Really all that needs to happen is for Joe Burrow to be back and for 6-foot-6 Gesicki to get enough end zone touchdowns. Maybe?
Jonnu Smith feels like he’s in the same boat. Can he carve out a role in Miami as the third fiddle behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle? Both of these guys are total fliers but wouldn’t rule them out being useful in certain weeks.
Luke Musgrave (Packers)
The guy has talent and the Packers have hit on a ton of these second / third round weapons. Look at Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, and even Dontayvion Wicks who they got in the 5th round. Musgrave comes from NFL bloodlines and was productive as a rookie. He could take that next step this year. Needs to stay healthy but I think this is an offense you want a piece of. A breakout season can’t be ruled out.
Pat Freiermuth (Steelers)
Arthur Smith has a background in tight ends and while I’m not the cheerleader for the new Steelers OC, he should help Freiermuth. I’m in on Muth for a bunch of different reasons this year. First time ever I’m in on Muth I should add.
The QB situation regardless of what you think of it is better than Kenny Pickett and Mitch Trubisky. Pittsburgh doesn’t have a reliable target beyond George Pickens either. Freiermuth should get his looks and I think this is finally the year he establishes himself as a top 10 option at the position.
Jake Ferguson (Cowboys)
We do get that Jake Ferguson is the number two pass catcher in Dallas, right? Ferguson had a really good year last year and should continue the momentum in 2024. Do people watch the games? I’m not sure they do cause this dude had 102 targets last year and I have no idea why that would change this year. Dallas was quiet this offseason and Ferguson should keep getting better. Buy this one.
Dalton Kincaid (Bills)
I have another lengthy post on Kincaid explaining my rationale for this one. I wasn’t overly high on Kincaid coming out of college. Just felt like taking him in the first round was really rich for my taste. Fantasy is a different animal and I couldn’t feel more differently in terms of buying here.
I have Kincaid as the number one tight end on my list. I want him in every league. He’s going to be the number one pass catcher for Josh Allen. Do you even need to hear anything more? This is a 12 team now and Kincaid is going to be unleashed. Just be ready for it.
Kyle Pitts (Falcons)
I’m all in. I’m just curious why that’s changed if you liked him coming out of the draft. We do get how this thing works at the tight end position, right? Just so this is clear, up until this year he’s never been on my fantasy team. We’ve been over why 100 times.
Give me the Pitts stock. If you believed in him in college, now is the time to buy. It’s why I’m doing so and Kirk Cousins loves him some tight end looks. Pitts is the best weapon they have and should be way more productive just having Cousins. Plus, it looks like he’s healthy now. 2024 will be the year it all comes together.
