Welcome to the Demeco Ryans show. The Texans stink but Ryans at least appears to be the right leader to get this puppy back on a respectable track. That’s the good news. The bad news is Bill O’Brien tanked this thing so bad that it’s going to take some time. Let’s get right into the 2023 NFL Draft War Room for the Houston Texans!

The Texans have to take a quarterback here, right? Enough of the BS involving Deshaun Watson. Who cares if CJ Stroud has the same agent. He’s accurate. He’s mobile. The arm is well above average. The footwork at the combine was impeccable. No guarantee Caleb Williams is yours next year. I think Stroud should be the pick here at 2.

You do have some options at 12. A trade back would be nice. This roster still stinks so you have to do your job and start collecting. There are holes everywhere. The Texans can afford to go best player available. In my opinion, that means coming away with one of the top corners and getting a bundle of offensive linemen in round two.

Nobody will talk about this but the truth of the matter is Bill O’Brien screwed this team. He should be banned from the city of Houston for tanking this team into oblivion. Make sure you remember the real villain of this story.
