If you haven’t heard, Marty Mush is on shaky footing at Barstool Sports. The Mush man stole Hank’s girlfriend (Ria) and the Barstool vets have turned on him. Actually, the entire internet has turned on Mush. Even the Celtics put out a #TeamHank thing on the Jumbotron during Game 7 of the Celtics – Bucks series.
With Mush possibly on the way out, could Draft Kings make a move? It’s an idea that could make some sense given the recent hires that Draft Kings has made. They’re throwing money around left and right. Jared Carrabis, of course, being the most recent hire. If Draft Kings can swipe one Barstool employee, why not another?
It’s an idea that Ryan Whitney gave credence to on a recent episode of Spittin’ Chiclets. This link (around the one hour and 37 minute mark) Whitney tells the story of what’s going on with the inner office love triangle. Whitney says he wouldn’t be surprised if Draft Kings made and offer and thinks Mush is a dead dog at the company anyway.
Will Draft Kings make a move? We will have to see. As for Marty Mush, it remains to be seen what his plan is at Barstool. If Big Cat and Dave decide he’s not needed during the gambling events, what exactly is his future at the company? It’s been all radio silent outside of the most recent episode of The Dave Portnoy Show.
