Vendetta Picks: 2020 NFL Week 12 Thanksgiving Betting Lines And Predictions

NFL Week 12 Thanksgiving
Welcome to the NFL Week 12 Thanksgiving edition of Vendetta picks. We have three games on tap with some regulars, read to see my selections! (Junfu Han via Imagn Content Services, LLC)

It’s Week 12 of the NFL season and Thanksgiving, which means lots of food, time with family (being responsible because of the pandemic, of course), and football all damn day on Thursday. There’s a great slate of games this Thursday, and I’m here to give you the best picks to make some money. Our record last week was 8-5.

Houston Texans @ Detroit Lions

Texans -3

In what seems like a yearly tradition, the Detroit Lions find themselves playing on Thanksgiving. It’s only fitting that we are picking against the Lions since they never seem to get it together. The Houston Texans have picked up some sort of steam after their abysmal start to the season. The Detroit Lions were also shut out (the first time in the Matthew Stafford era) by the Carolina Panthers who had XFL stud PJ Walker at the helm. Unfortunately for Lions fans, this year isn’t the year they put it together. Give me the Texans.

Washington Football Team @ Dallas Cowboys

Football Team +3

The Washington Football Team has a legit defense, Chase Young is an animal. They were playing an extremely close game against the Bengals until cover machine Joe Burrow went down with a catastrophic knee injury. I don’t trust Andy Dalton to find a way to win against this Washington defense, and there’s no chance that he will win by a field goal. I’m rolling with the Football Team and you should too.

Baltimore Ravens @ Pittsburgh Steelers

Steelers -5

Here we go. The main attraction of Week 12 in the NFL, the AFC North bloodbath battle between bitter rivals. Yes, this is no longer being played on Thursday but I’m including it anyway because we all know that this is the game to watch. The Pittsburgh Steelers have been on a roll in their 10-0 season. Obviously, I see that trend continuing tonight, not only for my pick here but because I do believe that the Steelers will go 16-0 and they’re chasing championships. This isn’t blind fan bias. The Pittsburgh Steelers are 9-2 against the spread, and the Baltimore Ravens are dealing with multiple positive Covid tests. They will be relying on Gus Edwards and Lamar Jackson in the run game, and Lamar Jackson is unable to utilize Marquise Brown and seemingly pissing away such a talented receiver.
