Ben Roethlisberger has one thing on his mind: Championships. That’s right, plural. 16-0 isn’t the perfection that the 17-year veteran quarterback has on his mind. He wants to win the big one more than once before he finally hangs up the cleats for his Hall of Fame career.
We’re not chasing perfection in terms of 16-0. We’re chasing Lombardis. That’s the most important thing to us.

The Steelers have extended their perfect record to 10-0, and have a three-game lead in the AFC North as well as the head to head tiebreaker over the second-place Cleveland Browns who stand at 7-3. 16-0 is a very likely scenario for Pittsburgh. Ben Roethlisberger has bounced back, since his devastating elbow injury he’s thrown for 2,534 yards, 24 touchdowns, and only five interceptions. 2020 could be pushing Roethlisberger’s 2014 season as the most efficient of his career (32-9 TD-INT ratio and 4,952 yards). Roethlisberger still feels that the offense is capable of and needs to do more.
We got to put more points on the board. I know what the scoreboard says, but there were too many times we punted and didn’t do enough. Offensively, we’re happy we got the win, but we know we have to do better.

Now, the Pittsburgh Steelers have a solid offense. They’ve scored at least 24 points in every game, and have scored over 30 points three times (Against the Eagles, Browns and Bengals). Roethlisberger is leading the fourth best offense in terms of points per game this year, only trailing the Chiefs, Seahawks and Packers.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have surpassed most expectations in a what could be considered a Super Bowl or Bust Season. Ben Roethlisberger has his eyes set on multiple Lombardi trophies to end his career. This puts retirement rumours at rest, and shows that Big Ben doesn’t really care about regular season awards and statistics. He wants trophies and rings.
