Tony Pollard Is Better Than Ezekiel Elliott… Unless You’re Talking To Jerry Jones
It’s now obvious to everyone at this point that Tony Pollard is better than Ezekiel Elliott. That wasn’t the case three years ago but it is now. The only person that’s willing to now disagree with that point is Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Old man Jerry says Zeke is the starter even if Tony Pollard walks on water.
Hey, I’m not saying Zeke can’t have a role. He’s still a productive back in terms of short yardage and pass-protection stuff. However, the fact remains this. There is not a single thing Elliott is better than Pollard at in football at this stage of his career.
I’m not going to lie, I was shocked when I saw this.
In reality, we need to stop the Zeke vs. Pollard stuff. It should be where is Pollard in terms of top backs in the league? He’s a top 10 back, folks. He’s damn good and someone you should have traded for a long time ago in any long-term fantasy league. 81 carries this year for Dallas and again is averaging a bonkers 6.2 yards per carry and five touchdowns. Since 2021, he’s rushed for 5.47 yds/carry between the tackles, which ranks second in the NFL.
TONY POLLARD IS GOOD AT FOOTBALL.
When will Jerry Jones figure it out? Will he ever figure it out? Should we just ship him to Pluto and have Stephen just run the team already?
I think the only thing saving this controversy from being a bigger story is the fact that the Cowboys are actually good. Micah Parsons might be somehow doing it himself but Dallas is 6-2. If it were reversed, I couldn’t imagine how toxic this Pollard stuff would get.
