Start Em Sit Em Week 16 2020: Fantasy Championship!

Start Em Sit Em

Start Em Sit Em

It’s championship week for fantasy guys! Unfortunately, I did not make the championship in either of my leagues. In my snake draft league, I drafted Christian McCaffrey, yes I will pause for your respects. Despite that, I was down 9 points with the Steelers defense against the Bengals, I LOST. Sorry, I know I am rambling but I am just so pissed about the whole thing, my team should have won the whole thing. Anyway, let’s get back to the Start Em Sit Em for this Championship week!

Start Em Sit Em QB

START EM

Tua Tagovailoa: Another week, another QB I have to put in my Start Em against the Raiders. The Raiders defense is so bad. Despite getting guys back from injury this week, I’m not convinced it will do much. Tua should have a great day, much like any other QB that played against us.

Jalen Hurts: For now, Jalen Hurts has been playing well. He put up fantasy 37 points last week against the Cardinals. The Cowboys defense is much worse than theirs, Hurts should eat against them.

Matt Ryan: Despite the Falcons amazing ability to blow games, Matt Ryan has been playing decently for fantasy. The game against the Chiefs could be a competitive one. The Falcons might even get a lead…that they will blow but oh well. Matt Ryan should put up some points in this one.

SIT EM

Ben Roethlisberger: I don’t know what the fuck is wrong with the Steelers offense, but until they figure it out, sit Big Ben. He looked horrendous against the BENGALS. Now they play one of the top defenses in the Colts? Yeah, no chance Ben plays well.

Teddy Bridgewater: Despite Washington’s record, they have a solid young defense. This could pose problems for Teddy and the Panthers. I wouldn’t start him, don’t be fooled by Washington’s record.

Colt McCoy: The Giants play the Ravens and despite Anthony’s…bold claim that no one wants to see the Giants, at this rate who wouldn’t want to play the Giants offense? The Ravens defense has been stout all year. Against the Giants, the Ravens’ defense should make McCoy look bad.

Start Em Sit Em RBs

START EM

David Montgomery: David Montgomery has been POPPIN’ OFF! He has had 24+ points these past 4 weeks. That is not about to end this week when the Bears play the Jaguars. If you have him right now, I am jealous of you.

Gio Bernard: Gio Bernard played well against the Steelers defense, given that the Bengals play the Texans, the worst run defense in the league, this is only good news for Bernard. Joe Mixon is out again, which means Gio is the lead dog and will get you fantasy points.

Darrell Henderson: Cam Akers has emerged as the lead back for the Rams and if you invested early, this is now paying off. Except now he’s hurt with a high ankle sprain. Now, Darrell Henderson is the lead dog playing a pretentious defense in the Seahawks. The Rams should have a high scoring day against them and Henderson will have solid fantasy production.

SIT EM

Steelers RBs: Like I said, whenever the Steelers can figure out what’s going on is when I will take them off Sit Em. Wouldn’t touch James Conner, Benny Snell, or even Anthony McFarland for all I care.

Chris Carson: Chris Carson goes against one of the best defenses in the league in the Rams. The Rams did lose against the Jets, but let’s not underestimate this defense still.

Mike Davis: Mike Davis going up against a tough and young front 7 on Washington? Yeah, it is a no for me. This Washington defense will be special soon enough, but even now they are a stout run defense.

Start Em Sit Em WRs

START EM

Emmanuel Sanders: With Michael Thomas out, Sanders is the immediate go to WR. It’s up to him to act on that for right now though. With the Saints facing the Vikings, now would be a good time for him to pop off and score you some fantasy production.

Robert Woods/Cooper Kupp: Don’t care who, start both of them if you have them. Despite Seattle actually playing okay defense the past couple of weeks, they play a formidable duo in Woods and Kupp. will the Seahawks handle them? I doubt it.

DeVante Parker: This just goes more into the Raiders having the worst secondary in the league, or at least it seems that way. If Parker starts, you need to start him, the opportunity is too grand to pass it up.

SIT EM

Tyler Lockett/DK Metcalf: This is a hot take but last time these two played the Rams they had a combined 15 fantasy points. Call me crazy to put them both here but I wouldn’t try to figure out who has a better week. Be safe and sit both of them, even if they are both top 10 fantasy WRs.

Jerry Jeudy: Jeudy hasn’t been the worst rookie WR, but he has disappointed, with the Broncos facing the Chargers this week, a lot of focus will go on Jeudy. It’s not a smart start in my eyes.

T.Y. Hilton: Despite what I have to say about the Steelers offense, their defense is still strong. T.Y. is the best and most reliable receiver, I have to think the Steelers will try to shut him down the most.

Tight Ends

START EM

Jared Cook: With Michael Thomas out, this helps Jared Cook too in the receiving game. He should be a top TE to start this week against the weak Vikings defense.

Mike Gesicki: Another Dolphins player against the Raiders. Mike Gesicki is a great player in his own right, he should eat against the Raiders this week.

Austin Hooper: The Browns face the now one-win Jets. Sure, the Jets could be running on fumes and have another great week, but I doubt it. Hooper is one of the better TEs in the league, he should have a good day against the Jets.

SIT EM

Eric Ebron: Another Steelers player I don’t know what to do with. Sit Ebron out, he hasn’t really made a difference the last two weeks for the Steelers, I doubt that changes against the Colts.

Hunter Henry: The Broncos have done pretty well against TEs this year. I wouldn’t say Henry is necessarily a must-sit, but I really wouldn’t count on him to do wonders this week.

Rob Gronkowski: Gronk hasn’t made the hugest difference for the Bucs this year. With the addition of Antonio Brown, his value is even less now. I would say even against a weak Lions defense, the Bucs have other options to focus on, leaving Gronk in the dust.
