The Houston Texans are the cheapest for a reason. There is no direction with this team. Deshaun Watson’s career is in jeopardy due to legal troubles. This is one of the least talented rosters in the league. There’s just no reason to buy into this team until we have a clear idea of what direction they will go. Sure it’s only $20, but that would be a waste when you can get more bang for your buck by just spending $5 more on any other team.

#3 Tennessee Titans $32.56

The #3 and #2 spot were awfully close in the order to buy AFC South teams. I ultimately went with the Titans here for just one reason. Ryan Tannehill. Nothing against the guy himself, he is just an average QB. As far as the future goes, will they make any legitimate noise this year or in the near future? Not really, in my opinion. Would not be a bad team to invest in but just not the top 2 in the AFC South.

#2 Jacksonville Jaguars $33.97

Could this just be recency bias or does this have some legit reasoning? Maybe a little bit of both? The Jaguars draft was stellar, but it would be hard to royally mess this up after picking one of the best college QB prospects ever in Trevor Lawrence. Still, their draft was great and the future is bright. The only reason why they are #2 is because I would give them another year or 2 before they make legit noise in the division and in the playoffs. Still, this price will only go up from now on.

#1 Indianapolis Colts $34.07

Sometimes the answer really is that simple. The Colts had a great year and are looking to build on that. They upgraded at QB with Carson Wentz and should be the favorites to win the AFC South. Their future is bright with the cap space they have and how well they’ve set up their team for the future. The Colts will be here for a long time, this is the best team to invest in the AFC South.
