Remember When Mina Kimes Called NFL Teams Racist For Not Hiring Eric Bieniemy

If you’re a frequent reader of this site, you probably noticed that I use the term evaluate the evaluator quite frequently. One thing that drives me insane about this industry is that nobody holds people accountable after they say something ignorant. Mina Kimes has entered the chat and she needs to be held accountable for the uneducated things she’s said about Eric Bieniemy.

In case you missed it, UCLA fired Bieniemy after just one year on the job as the offensive coordinator. UCLA finished the season 5-7 and ranked 117th in total offense and 126th in scoring (18.4 points per game).

The thing is, none of this is surprising. If watched Bieniemy run Washington’s offense last year, you already knew he was a Madden coordinator. Something I went into great length here. The guy is a trash coach and it’s really not arguable. If anything, the under-talked-about story here is the fact that Bieniemy got Sam Howell killed last year and nobody cared.

Now let’s get back on track here and talk about the real story that needs to be addressed. Evaluate the evaluator. Apparently, Mina Kimes can just do whatever she wants at ESPN. Not only did she break their political policy, she also said totally ignorant and false things claiming the NFL teams were racist for not hiring Bieniemy as a head coach.

Let’s make one thing clear. Mina Kimes knows absolutely nothing about football and once again she let politics cloud her judgment. This has nothing to do with politics. Bieniemy isn’t qualified to be a head coach and it’s not arguable. It’s especially not arguable after A COLLEGE PROGRAM didn’t think he was qualified enough to run JUST THEIR OFFENSE, let alone as an NFL head coach. Bieniemy isn’t good at anything beyond being a Madden coordinator who calls a bunch of pass plays. Beyond that, he’s a trash coach and there is more than enough evidence to prove that’s the case.

I don’t respect Kimes. Never have and never will. Frankly, I don’t know why anybody pretends that she knows anything about football. By the way, we’re months removed from her saying she voted for Tim Walz because he is the poster child of “masculinity” in a rant that made zero sense.

Put politics aside. Josh Allen is probably going to win the MVP Award this year and totally carries the entire Buffalo franchise on his back. This was her reaction when the Bills drafted him.

Sorry, not sorry, but Kimes is trash. You the viewer should think twice if you trust anything that comes out of her mouth.

Side note: Credit to Nick Wright who also willingly exposed himself as a moron. Again, if you ever for a single second thought Bieniemy should have gotten an NFL head coaching job, you know nothing about football.
