I’ve been trying to tell you this for a while. Eric Bieniemy stinks. How much more evidence do you need after this story today?
Ross Dellenger over at Yahoo Sports was the first to report the news that Bieniemy has been fired as the UCLA offensive coordinator after finishing 117th in total offense.
It was a disaster season at UCLA. The Bruins finished 5-7 and 126th nationally in scoring (18.4 points per game). The entire program took a step back from where they were at a year ago. The guy is a Madden coordinator. Nothing more. Hopefully, people see that now.
Indiana quarterbacks coach Tino Sunseri has emerged as the leading candidate to replace Bieniemy at UCLA. The biggest story here honestly is the fact that Madden Iamaleava changed his mind and committed to Arkansas because of the chaos at the playcalling spot. When you lose out on Iamaleava because Bieniemy is a dope, how much more evidence do I need to give you before you the viewer understand that this guy is a clown?
Apparently, the plan is for Bieniemy to return to the NFL. I just have no idea who the hell would want him. Nobody smart wants him. Unless he begs to return to Kansas City, I have no clue who wants him.
Can we just be honest about this whole situation? There is only one reason why people are clamoring for Bieniemy to get an NFL head coaching job and it has absolutely nothing to do with his actual coaching ability. It has everything to do with the elephant in the room that I don’t need to say.
The guy stinks. Get over it. The evidence speaks for itself.
