New year, same Bears. Poor Bear fans thinking that 2020 would bring them some hope and optimism, think again. The Bears 2020 season is over before it ever began. Chicago remains delusional and will commit to Mitch Trubisky for next season. Dear, lord. God, help the good people of the Windy City.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network was the first to report the news:
The funniest part of the news has nothing to do with the decision. I hate Ian Rapoport. Can’t stand the guy. Once every other day, Rap Sheet is due for one of these tweets. “States the obvious”. WTF? So bringing back Mitch Trubisky as the unquestioned starter was the obvious choice? It’s things like this that makes me hate Ian Rapoport.
If there is one thing to make the poor fans of Chicago feel better, it’s that Mark Helfrich got fired. The former Oregon head coach was the offensive coordinator this past year for the Bears. That pairing obviously has not worked. Chicago finished 29th in total offense this past year. Can’t go anywhere but up, right?
I don’t understand how Ryan Pace can continue to get away with this. Mitchell Trubisky is a 6th round talent and has played like a 6th round talent in the league. The guy can’t play. Chicago is pissing away a loaded defense for no reason. Just because they are too ignorant to admit they made a mistake. I should be thanking you, Ryan Pace. Thank you, Ryan Pace for all the wonderful page views. Every time Mitch Trubisky takes the field, more and more people learn what I knew the whole time. Mitch Trubisky can’t play. Cheers to a new year, and the same Bears.
