It’s back! Who The Fuck Is That Guy is back! After waiting for all the opt-outs to occur, the Who The Fuck Is That Guy series is back. For those of you that don’t know, Who The Fuck Is That Guy is the final segment for every episode of the Vendetta Sports Fantasy Show. Today we’re looking at Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Tajae Sharpe. Sharpe is one of many wide receivers featured in “Who The Fuck is That Guy.”

Background Information

Tajae Sharpe was signed by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2020 NFL Off-season. It was a 1-year deal worth $1 million. Sharpe has a tall frame at 6-2 but does not have the size to be a physical receiver as he weighs in at 194 pounds. Originally a 5th round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, Sharpe is looking to become the wide receiver 2 in Minnesota behind the established Adam Thielen.

Past Production

Tajae Sharpe is best known for his press conference after the Titans stomped the Ravens in the 2019 Divisional Round. When we look at his past production, it’s easy to see why. Sharpe had his best year in 2016, catching 41 passes for 522 yards and 2 touchdowns. 2019 he had a career high 4 receiving touchdowns. He has 92 catches for 1167 yards and 8 touchdowns for his entire career. Good wide receivers put those numbers up on a yearly basis. Sharpe won’t be a wide receiver one but he has the potential to be a decent number 2 or 3 for fantasy football.

Path To Playing Time

Tajae Sharpe is currently listed as the wide receiver 2 for the Minnesota Vikings. He simply needs to hold off rookie wide receiver Justin Jefferson and Sharpe will be a starter. Rookie wide receivers usually take a while to get their feet under them in the NFL. With no preseason and an altered training camp, veteran players will see an increase in value and workload.
