Watch: Invincible Season 2 Teaser Trailer
Invincible was a smash hit animated series that debuted on Amazon Prime. It is an adult superhero show based on the Image Comics series Invincible. Superheroes have been a huge part of popular culture and are probably on the decline.
However, the Invincible series is not one’s typical superhero depiction. There are similar beats such as a variety of heroes and villains, issues with identity, and balancing friends and saving the world. However, the fact that it is an animated series allows the creators to turn the gore and vulgarity up to a ten.
Here is the trailer for Season 2.
This trailer was an exciting teaser for Season 2 of Invincible. It showcased a lot of the fan favorite characters which confirms their return in the new season. There was not a whole lot of information released in the trailer, but it looked like the show is picking up where it left off and made it seem like fans will get to learn a lot more about Viltrumites. Also, fans may even see a Viltrumite vs. Earth showdown.
Nevertheless, the new trailer displayed all the new voice actors that will be in the new season. I think this is awesome as it seems the Invincible series is always ready to show love to their crew. The first Invincible teaser gave praise to the editors, artists and animators behind the scenes. Now, this trailer gave appreciation to all the voice actors that make the series great.
Fans can be excited knowing everyone will receive new episodes on Nov. 3.
New Season Two Voice Actors
Steven Yeun, who plays Mark Grayson also known as Invincible, and J.K. Simmons, who plays Mark’s Dad Omni-Man, will be returning in Season 2. This was a necessity as these two voice the characters perfectly. Sandra Oh’s performance as Debby Grayson, who is Mark’s mom, is just as great.
There is no doubt that they nailed the cast in the first season. I wanted to mention some new actors in the second season, even though people do not know the characters they will portray.
The first two names I found interesting are Tim Robinson and Jay Pharoah. These two are both amazing comedians who could be great in Invincible because the show is not one to shy away from humor. The next actor is Ben Schwartz, a talented voice actor that I know that his been in Sonic as well as many other animated television shows and movies. Finally, there is Peter Cullen. He is most known for being the iconic voice of Optimus Prime from Transformers. Cullen has an amazing voice and should fit fantastically as a Viltrumite in Invincible.
