Watch: First Trailer For Ridley Scott’s “Napoleon”

Is Apple TV actually creating good content? Right now, it doesn’t make sense to purchase a subscription unless it is to quickly binge Ted Lasso. Now that Ted Lasso is over, Apple TV needs to start upping its game or people will lose interest. Well, they may have come in clutch because this trailer I’m about to show you looks awesome. Check out the first trailer for Ridley Scott’s “Napolean”.

Ridley Scott is the same guy that helped produce “Blade Runner,” “Alien,” or “Gladiator”. I think people should have confidence that this piece will do the job portraying Napolean. I’m not sure Joaquin Phoenix was the right choice but he’s really good at playing the role of a psycho. Maybe he will prove to be the right guy for the job. However, Phoenix is two inches taller than the 5-foot-6 Napolean was in real life. Maybe they could have gone with a guy that was even shorter. I guess modern tech can take care of that part.

This trailer for Napoleon looks really good. November 22, 2023 is the official release date for the film. Apple TV subscribers will actually have something to watch on the day that the film is released. We also have never gotten a proper film on the life of Napoleon so I have high hopes that this film will do the job. Also, Trey is a low-key history nerd so I will definitely watch and even give a proper review later down the line.
