Vendetta Picks: 2023 NFL Week 3 Betting Lines And Predictions

Another day, another opportunity to get rich. Welcome to the Vendetta Sports Media 2023 NFL week 3 betting lines and predictions. A down week last week, but it happens to the best. No team has gone the entire season undefeated since 1972. So we do what all championship teams do, we bounce back!

Overall Record Through Week 2:

Jackson: 15-16-1

Garrett: 15-16-1

Sabin: 14-17-1

Chick: 13-18-1

Matt: 13-18-1

Griff: 12-19-1

San Francisco 49ers vs. New York Giants (+10.5)

49ers: Everyone

Fairly straightforward to kick off the NFL week 3 betting lines and predictions. The Giants give up a lot of points and the 49ers are a top 5 team in the league. It’s a pretty big spread (there are a lot of those this week) but we ride with San Fran.

Cleveland Browns vs. Tennessee Titans (+3.5)

Browns: Chick, Sabin Titans: Jackson, Garrett, Matt, Griff

The Browns have a great defense, but the offense is shaky, especially after losing Nick Chubb for the rest of the season. I just don’t trust Deshaun Watson at all. Cleveland should win this, but when in doubt, bet the ‘dog.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Los Angeles Chargers (-1.5)

Vikings: Jackson, Matt, Sabin, Garrett Chargers: Chick, Griff

This is a tough one to decipher. Both teams have been disappointing, but which team do I trust more? Or perhaps the better question is who do I trust the least? The answer to that question is Brandon Staley. SKOL.

New York Jets vs. New England Patriots (-2.5)

Patriots: Everyone

The Jets are pretty terrible. The Patriots have a pretty good defense and were within one score of both the Eagles and Dolphins. Patriots cover and get their first win of the season.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Houston Texans (+8.5)

Jaguars: Jackson, Garrett, Sabin, Griff Texans: Chick, Matt

This does feel kind of like a trap game, but the Jaguars are legitimately a good team. They ran into a buzzsaw last week against the Chiefs and could get their revenge against the poor Texans. I honestly would not be surprised to see Houston cover, but I think the chances of Jacksonville covering are better.

Washington Commanders vs. Buffalo Bills (-6.5)

Commanders: Matt, Garrett Bills: Jackson, Chick, Griff, Sabin

This feels almost too easy, right? Yes, the Commanders put up a lot of points against the Broncos, but what did that really tell us? Buffalo is an all-around much better team than Denver and will stomp Washington by double digits.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Indianapolis Colts (+7.5)

Ravens: Jackson, Chick Colts: Garrett, Matt, Griff, Sabin

This truly depends on whether Anthony Richardson is ready to go by Sunday. My gut tells me that since he is supposed to be their quarterback of the future, Indianapolis plays it safe and sits him this week. If that is the case, I have a hard time seeing how the Colts keep up with Baltimore.

Detroit Lions vs. Atlanta Falcons (+3.5)

Lions: Jackson, Sabin, Griff Falcons: Chick, Garrett, Matt

I will be the first to admit, I did not expect the Falcons to be 2-0. That still doesn’t mean they’re good. I had higher hopes for the Lions last week, but for whatever reason, they always have trouble with Seattle. The Lions not only get back on track with a win plus the cover.

Green Bay Packers vs. New Orleans Saints (+2)

Packers: Jackson, Garrett, Chick, Matt, Griff Saints: Sabin

I’m not impressed with the Saints’ 2-0 start. The Packers had a tough loss last week but at home, I think they squeeze out a win that easily covers the spread. There are so many of these types of games throughout the NFL Week 3 betting lines. I keep going back and forth, but picking the Packers feels right.

Miami Dolphins (-6.5) vs. Denver Broncos (+6.5)

Dolphins: Jackson, Garrett, Matt, Sabin, Griff Broncos: Chick

Again, this feels like a trap. But it’s hard to bet against the ‘Phins right now. I’ve already said my piece on the Broncos, and the Dolphins are hot right now–not just because they’ve won their first two games or that both those were on the road, but because it is literally hot in Miami and the Broncos will be dealing with the sun. UCE!

Seattle Seahawks vs. Carolina Panthers (+5.5) (LOCK OF THE WEEK)

Seahawks: Everyone

What a line to snag. It’s moved a bit since we all locked in our picks, but this could be 10 and I’d still probably take it. The Panthers are making progress, but they just aren’t there yet. Seattle has looked okay but I think they get their swagger back this week.

Kansas City Chiefs (-12.5) vs. Chicago Bears (+12.5)

Chiefs: Jackson, Chick, Garrett, Griff, Sabin Bears: Matt

The Bears STINK.

Arizona Cardinals (+12.5) vs. Dallas Cowboys (-12.5)

Cardinals: Matt Cowboys: Jackson, Chick, Garrett, Griff, Sabin

Micah Parsons.

Las Vegas Raiders (-2.5) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (+2.5)

Steelers: Everyone

The Steelers’ defense is stellar. The Raiders have a lot to figure out across the board. I’m going to rock with Pittsburgh in this one.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+4.5) vs. Philadelphia Eagles (-4.5)

Bucs: Jackson, Garrett Eagles: Chick, Matt, Sabin, Griff

Big trap game alert here. This is probably the biggest limb I am going out on for the NFL week 3 betting lines. The Bucs have played decently and the Eealse have played just okay. With all that said, a cover is easily not out of the question. But I really think the Bucs might win outright. Might not be a bad money line bet.

Cincinnati Bengals (-2.5) vs. Los Angeles Rams (+2.5)

Bengals: Chick, Sabin, Griff Rams: Jackson, Garrett, Matt

An even 50/50 split between the group. Joe Burrow is still injured, and a lot of my pick here has me salty at the fact that Ja’Marr Chase has not produced for my Vendetta fantasy team (still 1-1). But the Rams have legit looked decent and played well against tough opponents through the first two weeks. I am also a big supporter of rooting for the most chaotic outcome, and the Bengals (and potentially the Chargers) starting 0-3 is just that.
