Titans: Firing Mike Vrabel Was Incredibly Stupid
I think I actually cursed the Titans. Tennessee fired Mike Vrabel today and can anyone explain how this isn’t incredibly stupid?
WTF are the Titans doing? What has Ran Carthon accomplished to make this call? Outside of getting the 49ers a third round comp pick. His first draft stunk and apparently trading Mike Vrabel was something that was deemed as “too complicated”.
What a joke. Vrabel is the only positive quality about this team. This offensive line might be the single worst offensive line in the league. Derrick Henry is out of gas and is exiting. You have two young quarterbacks and neither are the answer. You traded AJ Brown for a significantly worse version of him. You have zero star players on either side of the ball with the lone exception being Jeffery Simmons, who in his own right is a knucklehead. Way to go…
It just doesn’t make any sense. Especially considering that the Saints got draft picks for Sean Payton. Vrabel just became the best name on the market in an hour. This guy took the Fighting Ryan Tannehill’s to the AFC Title Game in 2019 with a mediocre roster. AND you think he’s the problem… stop it.
This team is so screwed. Do we understand how hard it is to find a coach like Vrabel? Those guys don’t grow on trees. Do they honestly believe they’re going to upgrade from that guy? Does anyone with a resume want this Titans job over other possible destinations?
That’s not even the worst part. Who is the Titans quarterback? There is no way your answer is Will Levis long term unless you want to lose. Rock bottom hasn’t hit yet but it’s on its way.
