Skip Bayless Has Awful Remark Regarding Damar Hamlin Situation
In a game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night, Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed after getting hit in the chest during the first quarter and needed to receive CPR and AED delivered to him. Obviously, all of Vendetta Sports Media is sending their thoughts and prayers to the Hamlin family, but something has to be addressed. Fox Sports talking head Skip Bayless put out a completely moronic tweet in regard to the situation.
“No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.” – Skip Bayless
To be this tone-deaf to what is going on is astounding. Completely disgusting.
Naturally, social media is lighting his Twitter replies up, and deservingly so. Bayless has been on a tear of saying stupid things over the past year, and I didn’t think it could get worse than the Shannon Sharpe situation that happened a few weeks ago, but this is just significantly worse.
There comes a point in time where someone has to realize Bayless shouldn’t be on the air anymore after this distasteful tweet about Hamlin and the evolving situation. He provides literally nothing to the sports media world except sound bites for us to ridicule him, and rightfully so.
Hopefully, this is the straw that breaks the camel’s back, and Fox Sports takes Bayless off the air. Enough is enough. All of the sports media world is coming for Bayless, and he deserves every word said. Shame. Way to go, Skip. You’ve really done it this time. This might just be the worst take you have had during your career, which is saying a lot.
