Ryan Reaves: The Future Replacement For Bruce Buffer?
There are very few things in life that get me more fired up than when Bruce Buffer previews the next UFC fight. You all know what I’m talking about. IT’S TIME! FIVE ROUNDS FOR THE UFC TITLE! Inject all of it into my veins. When Buffer eventually calls it quits, does the UFC already have a replacement in mind? Maybe Ryan Reaves?
Pretty good! Certainly wasn’t the worst effort of all-time. I’ll give it a solid B+. Not Bruce Buffer standards but for a first go around? Not bad at all! Ryan Reaves did play for the Golden Knights once upon a time so being the next UFC hype leader may not be a bad next career path for Reavo. Reaves likes to fight and loved his time in Vegas. Just saying.
Speaking of fighting, we have a future Ryan Reaves fighting waiting to happen upon his retirement. That fight with Paul Bissonnette is going to be must-see TV. This fight has been brewing for a long time so the build-up is going to be there.
Reaves appears to be making a positive impact with his new team in Minnesota. He’s a great enforcer to just have in the locker room. Reaves may be towards the end of his NHL career but his value goes beyond the box score. The Wild acquired Reaves this year from New York for a 5th round pick in 2025.
