On the latest episode of Spittin Chiclets (link here) Paul Bissonnette tells a story how he ran into Ryan Reaves. The two battled it out in one of those stupid punching bag games you find in random bars. Biz got the better end of Reaves but it may have also sparked a future feud.
Did Biz Nasty call out Ryan Reaves in a possible fight at Rough N Rowdy? That’s what I heard.
Bissonnette and Reaves have fought before on a handful of occasions in the NHL. What better way than to settle this feud once and for all at Rough N Rowdy? You want to talk about butts in seats? That potential fight with virtually nothing else on the card would sell. That’s a lock.
Of course, that likely won’t happen until Ryan Reaves retires. Reaves, 35, might never play another NHL game again if we’re just being honest. Reaves was scratched during multiple playoff games for the Rangers this past year. Reaves is still technically under contract with the Rangers but that is because he signed an extension as part of the trade with the Golden Knights. Otherwise, there is a good chance Reaves might still be unsigned.
Rough N Rowdy is only going to become more and more popular. It wouldn’t be surprising at all to continue to see bigger names fight in these events. Barstool has already had multiple employees fight in past events including Marty Mush, Alex Bennett, Hank, Jerry, etc.
It’s pretty safe to say everyone is rooting for a potential fight between Paul Bissonnette and Ryan Reaves. Let’s make it happen!
