Raising Cane’s Has It’s Grand Opening in Times Square NYC

Raising Canes is an American special as it is known as the best fast food chicken tenders in the country. As of 2023, there are 704 Raising Canes in the United States. Texas is the state with the most Raising Canes, and the least amount is on the East Coast. They specialize in tenders but also have an extremely popular dipping sauce as well as warm sweet bread that comes with it. The sauce is garlicky and sweet and is specially made to be paired with their most popular item, the chicken tenders.

Raising Canes is undoubtedly one of the most iconic and delicious fast food restaurants in the United States, yet New York City has been missing one of these joints for all these years until June 27. For years, if New Yorkers wanted to try that salty and greasy tender paired with the delicious bread and sauce, they would have to drive hours to another state. But finally, on June 27, New York City welcomed its first Raising Canes in the heart of Times Square. It’s only been 2 months, but this joint is still racking up long lines with excited New Yorkers who are ready to finally try the iconic chicken tender combo.

The Food

The food itself at Raising Canes is honestly pretty good. It’s obviously not award-winning, but it’s got a great kick for a fast-food joint. It gives you exactly what you ask for. Hot and ready juicy chicken that’s easily available and widely loved, even by picky eaters. The chicken is crispy and breaded well but could use a bit more seasoning. The sauce, however, adds a good layer of creaminess and sweetness to balance out more flavor. And on top of that, the bread adds a great chew and makes the perfect sandwich bread to slap the chicken inside.

If you’re a New Yorker who always dreamt of trying Raising Canes, dream no more and head out to Raising Canes in Times Square to see if it’s worth the hype!
