2K Games revealed all the licensed courses that will be available in PGA Tour 2K23 on Tuesday. 20 will be available at launch and many more post-launch. The game will include the return of 17 courses from PGA Tour 2K21 with the addition of three new courses: The South Course of Wilmington Country Club, The Renaissance Club, and St. George’s Golf and Country Club. With 20 courses available right at launch, players will be able to test their skills on a total of 360 unique fairways.
To create such pristine in-game renditions of real-life courses, 2K Games and HB Studios used a combination of aerial drone footage, lidar data, high resolution photography, and supporting assets submitted by each course’s management that helped with realistic buildings, signage, hazards, fairways, greens, and climate to make sure each course is as close to real-life as possible. This effort will ensure the most authentic PGA Tour video game experience to date.
Here is a full list of all the courses available at launch:
More licensed courses, including Pebble Beach Golf Club, Spyglass Hill, and Torrey Pines North and South Courses, along with new, custom courses created in PGA Tour 2K23’s Course Designer will be available post-launch and free to players on all platforms! More details will be out soon.
