AEW Dynamite is set to feature some major action. We will hear from a champion, get a preview of a championship match, and two enemies are going to cross paths. We are less than a week away from All Out, so it’s safe to assume that AEW may add some more matches to the card. Here’s a preview of AEW Dynamite.
Toni Storm, Hikaru Shida, Britt Baker, and Jamie Hayter are set to battle at All Out. But before that, they will meet in a tag team match. Baker and Hayter have made it very clear they don’t like Storm since she arrived in AEW. Storm was the victim of an attack at the hands of Baker and Hayter but found an ally in Shida. These four women will compete in a fatal four-way at All Out to crown an interim AEW women’s champion. Last week, AEW women’s champion, Thunder Rosa, announced she sustained an injury and will be stepping away. It will be interesting to see how these women operate on Dynamite since they will be competing against each other to become the interim AEW women’s champion. This match will give us a preview of what to expect at All Out.
It’s no secret that Bryan Danielson hates everything about Chris Jericho and the Jericho Appreciation Society. Danielson has had his fair share of matches against Jericho and his crew over the past couple of months. Danielson is set to face Jericho at All Out but has to go through Jake Hager first. Although Hager hasn’t had much success title-wise in AEW, he is no pushover. He is an underrated wrestler with great mat wrestling abilities. These two have a major contrast in styles. Hager is a big heavy-hitting wrestler, while also being agile. Danielson is a smaller, but very technical and hard-hitting. It will be interesting to see how these two men stack up against one another.
We are set to hear from the newly crowned AEW world champion, Jon Moxley. Moxley stunned the world last week when he beat CM Punk in about five minutes to recapture the world title. Moxley cut a passionate promo backstage later in the night. But this will be the first time we have heard from him since. I think we are going to get a new match added to the All Out match card with this promo. It’s bold, but I think MJF is going to return to challenge Moxley at All Out.
We are in store for another promising match in the AEW trios tournament. Will Ospreay and Aussie Open are coming off of an impressive win in an amazing match against Death Triangle. They are taking on the newly returned Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks. This match is extremely intriguing because it is public knowledge that Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega do not like one another. They have had their fair share of exchanges over Twitter. Their rivalry goes back years over various wrestling promotions but mostly happening in NJPW. This is the first time Ospreay and Omega will meet in the ring since 2018. There has been a lot of built-up resentment towards one another, so this match will be personal. This has the potential to be the best match of the trio’s tournament and I think it will live up to the hype.
This is the match card as of writing this, but when matches get added, the post will be updated.
