PFF Still Can’t Figure Out Why Their Golden Goose Sucks

PFF still can’t figure out why their golden goose sucks and it’s hilarious (David Richard/Associated Press)

PFF put their entire reputation on the line when they proclaimed Baker Mayfield as a transcendent talent. Mayfield was their highest graded quarterback ever. Say a name, PFF claimed Baker Mayfield was better. Now they’re depressed and speechless. They have no answers for why their golden goose sucks.

Make sure you skip to the 5:07 mark if the video doesn’t start there already.

Now it’s taken Pro Football Focus 16 Weeks to even get to this point. For a long time, they just refused to talk about him until recently. They can’t hide anymore. Just the look on their faces is awesome. They look like speechless ghosts. No explanation for what’s going on. It’s hilarious.

This is too funny. They have no answer for why Mayfield isn’t accurate anymore. You can’t even make this up. I wonder why? Maybe not playing in the Big 12 anymore and not having Lincoln Riley makes a huge difference. PFF doesn’t know how to scout. They don’t understand how opposing competition needs to be factored in. No better example than them praising Travis Etienne for beating up Wofford.

Colt McCoy was a 4 year starter for Texas with a 70 percent completion rate. Imagine not understanding why he’s not accurate in the NFL. Mayfield just isn’t that talented. I don’t understand why this was so hard to understand. I hate to beat a dead horse here but this company continues to make a fool of themself and it can’t be ignored. They pretend like the numbers they have are the ultimate trump card and are befuddled when they don’t translate to the NFL. Nobody takes PFF seriously and it’s hard to do anything except make fun of them.
