Omar Khan Officially Owns Ryan Poles, Chicago Bears
The cat is out of the bag. We all know that Ryan Poles is an idiot, but I had no idea he would just roll over for the Pittsburgh Steelers and GM Omar Khan. Over the last two off-seasons, Khan has practically stolen from Poles and the Chicago Bears, taking whatever he wants and flipping them the bird on the way out. Khan owns Poles, and I think he knows it.
It all started last off-season when he somehow thought it would be a great idea to trade a second-round pick, which would turn out to be the first pick in the second round, for Chase Claypool. That second-round pick would turn into Joey Porter Jr., and I think it’s fairly obvious who won that trade. This was always a clear win for Omar Khan and the Steelers, and it really made us start to question whether Ryan Poles was any good at his job (spoiler alert, he isn’t).
But man, how on earth do you trade Justin Fields for a sixth-round pick? Not only a sixth, but the pick isn’t until next year’s draft? It’s obvious he hated Fields, but man this is embarrassing. It’s extra embarrassing when you consider that Kenny Pickett went for a significantly better trade package. But of course, when daddy calls, you do whatever daddy says. Khan asked for Fields for a sixth in 2025, and Poles obliged because Khan owns that franchise.
Omar Khan owns Ryan Poles. It’s clear as day. Poles stinks and should be fired any day now, and Steelers fans will sit back and laugh knowing they fleeced the Bears on two separate occasions during the Poles era. The only downside to the day Poles loses his job is that Pittsburgh can’t go calling for whatever they want and get it for cheap.
