The Cleveland Browns got smacked in their season opener by the Tennessee Titans 43-13. The Browns got beat up by 30 by the storyline to follow has shifted in another direction. Odell Beckham’s watch. Yes, OBJ wore $190 thousand watch during the game.

Despite the fact that the Browns lost by 30, OBJ is going to continue to wear the luxury watch during the games.

“I’ll still be wearing it,” Beckham said Tuesday. “The same way I wear it every day I go to practice, when I go here, I go there, been wearing it. Take a shower with it on. It’s just on me.”

“You got to look into the rule book. It says you can’t wear any hard objects. The watch is plastic,” he said. “People have knee braces on that are hard and made out of metal. You don’t see them taking them off. Everyone has jewelry on. So, I’m good.”

I truly don’t think Beckham even knows the Browns lost. I think in his mind he knows he got 7 catches for 71 yards and needs better numbers. Hey, at least he looked good doing it. The watch went with the outfit so he’s good. If you asked Odell what the score of the game was, I don’t think he would have a clue.

I can’t stand Beckham. I truly can’t. It’s one thing to propose to the kicking net, say you hate drinking water, and go on the boat trip before a playoff game. It’s when Beckham cries the victim. He sounds like such a baby.

“If anybody else would’ve worn the watch, if it was a $20 watch, it wouldn’t been no problem,” he said. “That’s just my life. If it ain’t this, it’s something else. If it wasn’t the watch, it would’ve been the way I’d tied my shoes.”

This guy doesn’t get it. He can’t be helped. There’s a reason why his team loses the more his stats go up. We’ll see if that changes in Cleveland. In a small sample size, he’s had a negative impact on Baker Mayfield. Freddie Kitches has to get control of this team. 12 penalties in the first game shows he has no control.
