Nobody Intelligent Is Taking The Nuggets Seriously As A 2023 NBA Finals Team
Someone needs to put an end to this idiotic Nuggets hype machine because nobody who’s actually intelligent is taking this team seriously. The Nuggets have a zero percent chance to make the 2022-23 NBA Finals and I’m willing to bet whatever on it.
Yes, I’m very aware the Nuggets are the number one seed in the West. It also doesn’t mean anything. A year ago the Suns and Heat were the number one seeds in their respective conference. Neither made the NBA Finals. The year prior the 76ers and Jazz were number one seeds. Neither made the finals. If we’re being real, this Nuggets team is similar to Miami from a year ago. A good team but not one that’s remotely close to being taken seriously as a championship contender.
Until Denver gets a better third star than Michael Porter Jr., nobody is taking this team seriously. Nikola Jokic is great but it’s not enough. You’re essentially asking Jamal Murray to go volcano hot mode while Porter starts to finally get some self awareness when making on court decisions. It’s just not happening.
I gotta know, what is there to like about this team? Does KCP do it for you? How about cancer Reggie Jackson? DeAndre Jordan get you hot and bothered? Does Ish Smith make you feel the tingles?

Maybe Denver had a chance but not after they bombed the trade deadline. The West got way better and I’m supposed to believe Thomas Bryant while taking away Bones Hyland was the missing piece. I’m supposed to take a team seriously that’s run by this guy.

Nobody with a brain is taking this Nuggets team seriously as a title contender. It’s a ticking countdown until this fraud team gets punked come postseason time. A round one matchup against Golden State or the LA Lakers is on the horizon. A matchup every Denver fan knows is one they don’t come out the other side of.
Zero percent chance the Nuggets reach the NBA Finals. Mark my words.
