Uh oh… it looks like the smart people are starting to agree with Trey. Let’s be real about what’s going on here with the Chicago Bears. If you have an IQ above 40 then you know that this Ryan Poles / Matt Eberflus combination stinks. Ryan Poles has proven over and over again that he’s re re and has no clue what he’s doing. Noted smart person Michael Lombardi finally had enough courage to speak out against Poles and his idiotic ways.

Caleb Williams does not look like the QB the Bears drafted him to be, but the team is not setting him up for success. Ryan Poles is building a Madden team in Chicago! @RichGannon12 and I broke it down on The Lombardi Line.

Again, you know this already if you have any shred of intelligence. Everything Poles has done has been idiotic. He’s made 12 panic trades to try to acquire wide receivers while ignoring the offensive line. With the lone exception of the brilliant move to pass on stud Jalen Carter to take mediocre Darnell Wright. Swapped Roquan Smith for Chase Claypool while moving down in the draft. Has no clue when it comes to the second round. The Keenan Allen trade stinks. Let’s not forget that Poles said Rome Odunze was the best non-QB in the draft and would have taken him second overall.

I can go on and on but if you’re smart you get it by now. Lombo is speaking the truth here. Poles has built a Madden team. I encourage you to watch the entire show from today (It’s mostly at the start) because it’s spot on.
