The Patriots are dead. The dynasty is over. Blah, blah, blah. Everyone wants to predict when the Patriots will finally fall off a cliff. The truth is that Bill Belichick is smarter than you and Tom Brady is fighting off father time better than anyone else has. One of the biggest antagonists in the media has been ESPN’s trash show First Take.
In case you missed it, this is what First Take put together last week:
ESPN is trash. Anyone with an IQ higher than a dead squirrel knows this. The Patriots are really feeding off this. Tom Brady said after the game that people think they suck? It’s crazy in New England. The most underrated quote of all came from Kyle Van Noy in regards to idiot Max Kellerman.
Van Noy via NBC Sports Boston:
“Well maybe, because everybody says we need to stick to football, he needs to stick to his boxing or whatever he does, his commentating.”
New England will travel to Kansas City in cold snowy weather again. New England is 3 point underdogs again. I wonder if they are chomping at the bit to get back out there. Guys like Van Noy epitomize what the Pats are all about. Failed Lions Draft pick who stinks out of BYU. Turns into productive stud linebacker with the Patriots who essentially is the swiss army knife for the entire defense. It’s a story that never gets old.
I would love for this to happen. Kick Kellerman back to boxing full time. A sport that no one watches. Perfect. Actually, I take that back. Let ESPN keep airing trash shows like First Take. It’s the reason why ESPN is slowly dying.
