Jon Moxley Signs Contract Extension With AEW

Jon Moxley has been carrying the load for AEW since he first arrived in the company. This is arguably the best Jon Moxley we have ever seen. Furthermore, during all of the drama in AEW, one thing has been solid. Moxley has continued to be a locker room leader throughout difficult times in the company. Whether it was in empty stadiums, or after locker room brawls, Moxley has proven he is the face of AEW. Well, it looks like he is going to be the face of the company for a while.

Tony Khan, CEO of AEW, announced that Jon Moxley has signed a contract extension with the company. So he will be signed to AEW through 2027. Moxley will be wrestling for AEW and it’s partner companies, including NJPW. He is a key piece to the company and the face of it. Moxley has shown numerous times that he is the leader of AEW. He has carried them threw tough times and never missed a beat. Moxley is the current AEW world champion and the only three-time AEW world champion in the company’s history.

“Jon Moxley is on the best run of his already legendary career, and this five-year extension

ensures that he was not only here for AEW’s meteoric rise, but also remains a key part of the

sustained success we’re witnessing.”

Jon Moxley’s Role In AEW

Jon Moxley will not only be a wrestler in the company. He will be mentoring and coaching talent in AEW. This is a huge deal for both Jon Moxley and AEW. Because not only will AEW get to keep Moxley in the company, but he will spread his invaluable knowledge to the young stars of the business. Furthermore, this shows how much Moxley cares about the company. He wants to see it succeed and will do anything to help them sustain its success. He is one of the best wrestlers of the past decade, so this is a huge signing for AEW.
