Antonio Brown Being Sued After Selling Fake $160,000 Watch
Antonio Brown continues to shock the world with his bizarre behavior after he allegedly scammed a man out of $160,000 over a fake watch. Ryan Kane, the man Brown allegedly scammed, is filing a lawsuit over the incident. According to TMZ Sports, Brown told Kane that the watch was in fact real and was valued at around $400,000. Kane wired $160,000 to Brown and his company before learning the watch was actually fake.
Kane is suing Brown for fraud along with a few other charges in hopes that he will get his money back.
TMZ also reported that Brown purchased the fake watch along with several others in Dubai for less than $500 apiece back in July. This is not the first time Brown has done something to find himself in the headlines recently. Just last week a video surfaced of Brown exposing himself to a woman in a public pool, also in Dubai. Reports have indicated that the video of Brown exposing himself was from months ago, making it probable that he both purchased the watches and exposed himself on the same trip to Dubai.
Brown’s behavior has led many to question the current state of his mental health. Many believe his behavior is attributed to having CTE. What we do know for sure is that Brown continues to hurt not only himself but his reputation through his heinous acts.
The Antonio Brown watch scandal only adds to the current controversy surrounding the former All-Pro wide receiver. If Brown’s behavior is attributed to his injuries during his playing career, then it opens up an entire realm for discussion about the safety of players following their careers. It is safe to say with the current trend we are on, this will not be the last we hear of Antonio Brown for quite a while.
