Jerry Jones: Dak Has Leverage In Contract Negotiations
Jerry Jones is turning more and more into Al Davis the older he gets. Jerry’s mouth continues to get him into trouble. This next story is so good that I’m not sure that you can make it up.
The Cowboys mercurial owner said that Dak Prescott has leverage after a 6-10 season in Dallas. What? Huh? Bro? Why would you ever say that? It’s called contract negotiations. Not let me roll over and pet my belly.
“I don’t know how you could have any more leverage,” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan. “… His evolving into an NFL quarterback has been nothing short of a perfect picture. He has great ability, in my mind, to win games. He’s talented. He certainly has the experiences and he has all the things, which has been substantiated by what we’ve offered Dak. You wouldn’t offer Dak what we offered in the past if you’d not thought he was very special. The issue is, how do you come together? And that’s no stranger to me. I’ve been doing it all my life, putting things together. We’ve got to get it together.
Dude… what are you doing? I can see you’re not hard to get. Hot girl walks into a room and you’re ready to spread your legs. Play hard to get just a little Jerry. This is as embarrassing as it gets.
This is why the Dallas Cowboys will never win anything until Jerry gets the keys taken away. Shut your mouth and do your job. Your job is to hand out checks. That’s it. The time is coming. Dak is going to get a ridiculous contract extension for no reason. It’s coming cause Jerry is willing to bend over after a date to McDonald’s. Clean it up, Jerry.
