Jayson Tatum

Jayson Tatum was rated an 87 overall after his sensational rookie season. As a rookie Tatum was the best player on a team that went 7 games in the Eastern Conference Finals. Tatum never recaptured that magic in year two. Now the jury is really out. Is Tatum on the verge of becoming a superstar or is he just another guy? NBA 2K20 dropped Tatum down to an 85 to start the season and he’s not happy about it.

“I’m gonna average over 20, All-Star, and the Celtics are going to the championship.”

That quote right there is the biggest takeaway I needed to see. Good, get mad about your rating. Now stop taking terrible Carmelo Anthony shots and start playing the right way. It’s go time, baby. I’m not sold on Tatum. I honestly don’t know which direction he will go. In a league full of star duos, Can Tatum emerge as a legit option in one?

I can make up my mind when it comes to this Celtics team. I really like Kemba Walker. I really hate losing Kyrie Irving. I hated that pus Al Horford. I’m sort of in on Enes Kanter. Will the young guys ever develop into stars? I’m looking at you Jaylen Brown too. Will Gordon Hayward get back to All-Star form? Will Marcus Smart start doing more smart things instead of dumb things? This is a big year for Boston. The asset tank that once looked so rich is starting to thin in a hurry.

I think it’s amazing how seriously players take their video game rating. Keenan Allen lost his mind about his Madden rating. We take it pretty seriously too. With a large Philly contingency with the site, We have two different opinions on the Eagles Madden rating.
