Is Uber Eats Worth The Extra Money?
It is a question I ask myself often sitting by my computer when I am hungry. I love being able to drive, but when I am writing or playing video games, I often don’t want to get up and get in the car. Uber Eats is an option for me where I live, but is it worth the extra money?
Yes
Like I said, when I am gaming and don’t feel like wasting more than ten minutes of my time, it is reasonable. I mean, do you know how much momentum can change in a short period of time while I get up to get food? No shot. And in terms of when I am blogging on a day like today, when I get an idea, I can easily just run with it and don’t want to lose my train of thought because of my stupid iPhone reminder to go get my pizza.
This also goes without saying, but if you are in any sort of form intoxicated, it is not only worth the extra few bucks, it is mandatory. Hell, I will even Venmo you a dollar or two to contribute to their fees so that you don’t drink and drive and put others in danger. Just hit me up on Twitter.

Sometimes these fees on delivery services are just so over the top it is no longer a reasonable cost. I understand it is all regional and subjective to financial situations, but sometimes it just doesn’t make sense to splurge.
If it is after 2 am and the cost of the service is more than your food total, it is time to call it a night and go to sleep instead of splurging on the mozzarella sticks.
So Is It?
Like I said, this blog lives in a hypothetical world where all is even, I would say it is probably worth it, depending on how you spend your time and money. It might cost me an extra ten or so bucks before the tip, but in your world, that time could cost you more.
