I Guarantee The Lakers Beat Denver In The 2023 NBA Western Conference Playoffs
Hi. You may remember me. I’m the guy that took a stand and said the Denver Nuggets had a zero percent chance to reach the NBA Finals. We are four wins away from that very thing happening. Today is about putting out a statement to the stock holders to tell them to have no fear. We have absolutely nothing to worry about because I guarantee the Lakers win the 2022-23 NBA Western Conference Playoffs. They will be the team to represent the West in the Finals. I guarantee it.
That’s exactly what I’m saying. The Lakers are the best team in the Western Conference and it has everything to do with getting rid of the biggest cancer in NBA history. That’s what you people never understood. Russell Westbrook is the single biggest detriment to winning in NBA history.
2019: Lakers win the title.
2020: Lost to Suns who later went to the Finals that year. Also, a team running on fumes from the extended bubble season the year prior. Still posted a 42-30 season.
2021: 33-49 missed the playoffs
2022: Lakers start 25-30 and send Westbrick out the door.
2022: Finish the season 18-9 with the best record in the West.
Do you see a pattern? Why can’t you people figure this out by now? Westbrick is that damaging. He’s that big of a scumbag. You are always better off not having him on your team. It’s been the way it’s been since day 1.
Of course, Westbrick only joined the Lakers in the first place for one reason. The people who some refer to as the GOAT has the basketball IQ of a dead squirrel. It’s just a fact. Rob Pelinka saved the Lakers’ season. That man put on an absolute clinic at the trade deadline. Even robbed the Nuggets at the deadline.
The Lakers wouldn’t be here without Rob Pelinka but that’s exactly what I tried to get across after the deadline. If we pull up the tracker, the Lakers added Rui Hachimura, Jarred Vanderbilt, D’Angelo Russell, and Malik Beasley. Vanderbilt is a defensive monster and former Nuggets draft pick who Denver gave up on too soon. I’m sure he won’t come back to bite them in any way.
What did Denver accomplish? Nothing other than waving the white flag on Bones Hyland and giving up three second round picks for Thomas Bryant. The same Thomas Bryant that has zero playoff minutes thus far. It was the day the Nuggets blew their season.
This is no disrespect to Nikola Jokic. He’s awesome and that’s an understatement. We just know how this story is going to go. LeBron James is just going to dummy another fraudulent team like he’s done so many times before. This Nuggets group will be remembered like the 2014-2015 Hawks. A really good regular season team but not one that should ever be taken seriously to win an actual title. Not until Denver actually gets a real third guy that’s better than Michael Porter. Denver is still 2-3 pieces away from that true title contention.
Save the blog. The Lakers are the better basketball team and I guarantee they advance. If anything, Denver should feel lucky to be there. Had the Lakers been an 8 seed they would already be out. If it weren’t for new owner syndrome in Phoenix, the Suns would be in this spot if they just held firm on keeping Mikal Bridges.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Nuggets put up a fight because they do have a strong homecourt advantage. It won’t matter. Lakers advance. Just remember to say sorry when the time comes. Heed the warning.
