Is Donovan Ezeiruaku actually first round worthy? We’re going to get to the truth on this one. The clock is ticking so let’s just get on with it. Here is your 2025 NFL Draft profile on the Boston College edge rusher!
NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 1, Senior Bowl (1), (2), (3)
Ezeiruaku, 21, was a three star prospect coming out of the state of New Jersey. During the 2021 cycle, he was the 195th-ranked LB and 27th-ranked player in the state. He spent all four years with the Eagles at BC.
I thought the Combine performance was alright. The guy has knuckle-dragger arms at 34 inches. Checks in at 6-foot-2, 248. Did not run but did rip out 22 bench press reps. The Senior Bowl was really good though. He passed that test no problem.
2024 was the breakout season, but let’s also not discount the 2022 season where he made Second-team All-ACC. Ezeiruaku has been a contributor on this team well past just this year. Oh, and this year included 16.5 sacks, 20.5 TFLs, and three forced fumbles. I watched him early on in the season. The stock notes are there for you. I think this guy is genuinely the real deal.
He’s not a bad athlete. Has some gumby in him. Checks the length box. I also liked his motor and the eye test part; it’s there.
I really like this player. I have a late first/early second round grade on Donovan Ezeiruaku. Sure, it’s a lot of Haason Reddick vibes, but this dude can bend and really close on sacks. I think he’s better than when Harold Landry came ou,t and even he had a decent career.
