2025 NFL Draft: Houston Texans War Room

It’s time for the Houston Texans to go through the 2025 NFL Draft War Room Series. The positive is that Houston has a few extra picks because of the Laremy Tunsil trade. The bad news is we still have to replace Tunsil along with a few other holes on the roster. Let’s see what we can get done here with the War Room series as the Texans get put through the Mock Draft Simulator blender.

The Texans would have an extra second rounder but they gave that away in the Stefon Diggs trade. He’s since essentially been replaced with Christian Kirk. I’m not sure wide receiver is a big need here. Obviously, this RB class is so damn deep too that it can’t hurt to take one of them later.

• Round 2: No. 58
• Round 3: No. 79 (from Dolphins through Eagles and Commanders)
• Round 3: No. 89
• Round 5: No. 166 (from Bills)
• Round 7: No. 236 (from Broncos through Eagles and Commanders)
• Round 7: No. 241

2025 NFL Draft: Los Angeles Rams War Room

I’m curious to see what Texans fans think about this one. Offensive line has to be a priority. Keeping the defense chugging also has to be on the to-do list. I think we were able to accomplish both of those things with this simulation. Based on where the Texans are picking, I can’t imagine they can do much better than this in the real life scenario.
