Did Colin Cowherd Secretly Hire Me As One Of His “Scouts”?

Did Colin Cowherd secretly hire me as one of his “Scouts”? To answer your question, no, but one thing is becoming obvious. Cowherd is either stealing my work without crediting me or one of his staffers is an avid reader of the site and funnels him the right information. I don’t care about the credit (although it would be the right thing to do). What I care about is my royalty check. If you’re going to swipe my work without credit, at least cut me a check.

The first one I let slide. There is not an analyst in America who wrote what I did about Mitch Trubisky. Not one that went into as much detail as I did about his mechanics. Suddenly years later, Cowherd just swiped virtually everything I wrote and acted like he’s a quarterback guru overnight. It would be one thing if the article wasn’t viral, but it’s on the first page of Google. Impossible to miss if you’re doing research for the show.

The next one, I had to finally speak up. I wonder who said that Gardner Minshew was a slightly less talented Baker Mayfield? While Cowherd was also critical Mayfield coming out of the draft, he called him a franchise quarterback on numerous occasions. He just didn’t like his character, not his talent. Now he’s quickly copied what I’ve been saying all along that Mayfield is a third or 4th round talent.

Colin Cowherd isn’t smart enough to figure this stuff out on his own. He didn’t even know Burrow went to Ohio State while interviewing Urban Meyer. He admits that he relies on sources and scouts all the time for info. I’m sure he does. It would just be nice if he actually gave me credit instead of throwing the word “scout” when everybody knows it’s just me. I’m Cowherd’s best scout and not even on the payroll. Something gotta change.
