If you had to pick one word to describe scumbag (sorry I jumped the gun) Colin Cowherd… what word would you use? Personally speaking, hypocrite feels like the easy answer here. Pick any athlete you want. You can find Cowherd saying the opposite thing. If you’re even talented enough, you can probably put together an edit of Cowherd debating himself with the way he flip-flops. Baker Mayfield becomes example 874.

After YEARS of trashing Baker Mayfield, it would appear that the Bucs quarterback has finally won him over. So much so that Cowherd tried to hire Mayfield for the Volume (his trash company where he hired one of my interns who then subsequently turned into a turd. The full rant can be seen here).

“I know a lot of you think I don’t like Baker Mayfield,” Cowherd said on Monday afternoon’s The Herd. “But I can say this full disclosure, I offered him a job a year ago on my little podcast company. I think he’s going to be a great broadcaster if he wants to. He passed, he declined. Totally get it.”

Talk about a lack of self-awareness. Does anybody actually remember the time Mayfield went on his FS1 show? Mayfield clowned on him during the entire interview. I dare you to watch this and think to yourself… yeah, Mayfield should totally go work for that idiot. AND if he did, he would have such little self-pride for himself. Which is every single employee that works for the Volume.
