Lucic, 34, notched 22 points this past season for Calgary playing in all 82 games. At this stage of Lucic’s career, he’s mostly just a big body enforcer but every team needs one of them. If the Flames retain salary, I’m sure a trade could be worked out if the Bruins really want to go down that road.

It’s mostly a dangerous game because Boston has already brought back David Krejčí. Patrice Bergeron also announced his return to the team. At this point, if Zdeno Chara, Joe Thornton, and Lucic return, would anyone be shocked?
