Will Anthony Fontanello Ever Pay Me My $50 For Losing A Bet?

Look, I love Anthony Fontanello, his Italian accent and Godfather vibe are awesome. But even with people I love, a motherfucker still owes me my money. I have to keep a standard around here at Vendetta Sports Media. Last year I was voted best shit talker, I am now the defending champion of that award. There’s an expectation that needs to be kept here. Now, I have asked Anthony for my money multiple times, both privately and in public in our work group chat. Somehow it has been mulled over for this long. Partially it is my fault for letting it go this long but that was out of respect for Anthony. However, this has gone on long enough. Where is my money, Anthony?

What bet did he lose you ask? Let me tell you. As will everyone at Vendetta will tell you, if you say something I don’t agree with, I’m going to talk some shit and argue, it’s only natural. So naturally, that happened in this instance. Anthony was feeling himself and felt good about the New York Giants. It started with this post about how no one wants to see the New York Giants in the playoffs. That was blasphemy on its own and I called him out on it. This was just after the Giants beat the Seahawks to have a record of…5-7. Bold of him to assume that the Giants were going to playoffs and also bold of him to assume they will win a playoff game.

So I called him out on it. I said $25 just for making the playoffs and another $25 if they win a playoff game. That means even if the Giants just make the playoffs but lose, we break even, if they win a playoff game I would give Anthony $50. However, if they missed the playoffs entirely, he owes me $50. Well, like clockwork he took the bet, and then they missed the playoffs. I have now been waiting on my $50 for months now. Anthony is a hardworking man, I would understand if he just can’t give me the money yet and acknowledge that, but he ignores me everytime I bring it up!

With Anthony being Italian, I can’t imagine him being as patient with me if the roles were reversed. However, I hope this post will get his attention, much like how Alex Jacobs called him out on Kreig’s Korner and got a reaction out of him. I don’t wish a negative reaction out of Anthony Fontanello, but God damn I like it when my bets are paid to me as an honorable man. So in the wise words of Stewie Griffin from Family Guy: “Where’s my money man?!”
